We visited the area from out of state and have been pleasantly surprised by all the gluten free options. This place has the best gf buns I’ve had in my life! The chicken nuggets are amazing as well. The fryer is dedicated gf and the tater tots are delicious. My entire family loved everything we tried. The atmosphere is cool, too. We can’t wait to go back to Hat Creek.

After researching the gluten free menu online, I asked for a copy of it at the restaurant. All workers except the manager were clueless. Didn't know what gluten free was. Bad start. I asked for the burger without the bun and the sauce (the bottle of sauce did not indicate it was gluten free). I asked what was prepared in the fryer besides the fries, worried that the chicken nuggets would cause cross contamination. The manager said that everything in the fryer was gluten free. I made it through lunch without getting sick and the food was tastey. Would I go back? Nope. Train your staff please!!!!

The manager came to the table to fix it, once you get a scare at a restaurant it’s impossible to be comfortable while eating.

The gentleman at the front didn’t even know what was in the bowl I was ordering. Argued with me about what was in it even though I was looking directly at the menu. gave me the wrong everything and I asked him to ask the staff to change their gloves. He never did.

I was just uncomfortable, and really barely touched my food after.

The person at the front explained to me that until a year ago, the fry sauce had malt vinegar in it, so it would have had gluten in it. He said that they’ve changed it out and now all of their sauces are gluten-free. This may explain why some of the earlier reviews had mentioned people getting sick / having cross-contamination. I was pleased, and we enjoyed fried pickles, the chicken nuggets, a hamburger with a gluten-free bun and fries! Too much fried food (lol), but it was delicious!

Had the Classic Burger wrapped in lettuce and it was delicious. I confirmed with them that they use a dedicated fryer and so I tried the tator tots which were excellent as well. Will definitely be back. They have a great outdoor area with outdoor play area for kids.

What a treat! Happened to be off hours, and the staff was completely on top of gluten free process. Burger & fries all delicious, and chocolate / vanilla milkshakes are prepped in their own dedicated machine. Look forward to trying other locations.

My stomach always feels off when I eat the nuggets and fries from here. (4 times now) I’m not sure why, but I don’t feel right for days afterwards. Could just be the salt since no one else seems to have a problem with this place…. Not sure??

So so good! I stopped by before starting a road trip I got the nuggets and pickles to eat on the road! I was shocked at how yummy they were!!! And I got the chicken sandwich and fries to eat the next day! Wow! Delicious! I have a couple kids with celiac disease. We just moved to town. They are super happy that we found a fast food restaurant where they can eat safely and feel like all the other kids who get to go to McDonald's and Chick-fil-A and play on the playground. We have gone there multiple times since moving here and neither of them have ever gotten sick. One of them loves the chicken nuggets and fries. I tried the gluten-free cheeseburger with the sweet potato fries and it was really good. I would liken the taste of the burger to In-N-Out. Obviously, it's not exactly the same but you can see it from there.

Everything that goes into their fryers is gluten-free and they know how to do allergy protocol. They change their gloves and make the food in a separate area. They use the same grill for their burgers and buns. However, they put down parchment paper or foil onto the grill first, which is exactly what we do for our kids when we grill at our relatives' houses and they never get sick. All in all, we are very happy with this restaurant!
