Last time I went they put my GF burger and fries on a wooden plate. I haven’t been back. There are better options in town.
Amazing food with a dedicated fryer and plenty of gf options. So many options that it was difficult to choose what I wanted. I Had the fried chicken dinner and it was delicious. A bit pricy but got more than 2 meals out of it. Can't wait to come back to explore more of their menu
This is the holy grail of gluten free restaurants in the area. Their menu is as big as a book, and they can make most things gluten free. Gluten free pizza, fries, buns, beer, cider, fried chicken, pasta, and more! I never thought I’d be able to eat fried chicken again!! They even have a gluten free cupcake dessert. It is super rare to find gluten free dessert items elsewhere.
We ordered to go food and they messed up 3/5 meals. Caesar salad had croutons, buffalo chicken pizza had no blue cheese and regular chicken (not gf), and they didn’t even give us the buffalo blasts. We caught it in time and manager was very apologetic. Remade everything. Pizza was just okay though. Gave it 2 stars because the gf tuxedo cupcake was amazing.
Second time eating here. Very pleased with the service, (Polite). Delicious!!!! Food: first time had the gluten free fish and chips yum! The second time had a cheese bun grass fed burger. Awesome! So pleased with this place. Will be coming back often hopefully.
By far my favorite gluten free place! There are so many options to choose from and all easy to read on their very large menu. Burgers with homemade gf buns, pizza, seafood, steaks, pasta and so much more.
Just opened this week and man is this place amazing! They have so many gluten free options including gluten free breading, cauliflower pizza crust, buns, cupcakes, and a dedicated fryer. They even have their dressings labeled! I almost cried and the staff is excellent and knowledgeable. Oh and the food is good too! Love it here.
I've gotten sick after eating there, as recently as a month ago, despite them assuring me they were working to prevent contamination.
Pizza here is not celiac friendly! It is cooked on and in the same ovens as regular pizza. However there are plenty other gluten free options. They have gluten free pasta and buns. I got the roasted garlic and chicken pasta and it was delicious. I asked for it without mushrooms, was assured by the cook and server there was no gluten or mushrooms, and still found mushrooms in the dish. This made me wary of gluten cross contamination, but I didn't get sick so seems it was just mushrooms. Also had the chocolate cheesecake cupcake for dessert, which was delicious, but not very cheese cake like
Last time I went here, I got glutened. They used to be so careful with my food, but lately with management changes, things have gone downhill. Would not recommend going here...best to go down the street to Evergreen Walk where they have multiple restaurants safe for Celiacs
Very allergy friendly and knowledgeable staff! Good food too
So many gluten free options. The GF bun was great and I had a tasty sandwich and fries with no issues at all.
Alittle disappointed, order the garbage burger with the gluten free bun, server cam back and apologized they were out of gluten free buns, ok no big deal, so he suggested to get it with a lettuce wrap so I did. When I received my burger there was 2 small lettuce pieces on it as a wrap. Needless to say I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The burger tasted so good it made up for not having the bun. And the fries are made in a dedicated fryer so that's a plus too.
Seriously our favorite place! GF chicken tenders are amazing. I’ve also tried pasta which was pretty good. I’m not a huge fan of cheese so the burger bun isn’t my favorite, but love that it’s homemade and I don’t mind getting the burger lettuce wrapped.
They claim to have gluten-free options on the menu but don't count on them being there all the time. Three times over the last six months they have been out of their gluten-free buns and sandwich bread. That eliminates a lot of the items on their menu. Follow up 2/10/18 ---- manager has said they would order extra GF buns, and they have been in stock the past 3 visits. Their GF hamburger bun has cheese in it and is the best I have found. The fries are cooked in a dedicated GF frier.
I was so excited to eat here after reading all these amazing reviews, which I am shocked they have. It was awful! I'm normally a nice person but the service was terrible, the food is overpriced and disgusting. The "nachos" didn't even have cheese on them, and the gf pizza I ordered was burned to the pan... I literally had to scrape it off. I also asked for a cup of coffee (which I never got) but yet they still tried to charge me for it. Mcfly's was a Mcflop!
Came in to order food to go and ordered the chili with a side of fries. Didn’t realize that I never got the fries till I got home. There weren’t many gf options on the menu like I thought there would be maybe cause I wAs in a rush. I did get the gf chocolate cake and that was awesome!
The burger with the gluten bun is absolutely amazing! Their knowledge of gluten-free and service is fantastic. However, I have to tell you that the bulk of the food is super sweet and taste sugary/sweet. The burgers are not included in that generalization. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had!
We just left Maggie McFly's. I ordered a chicken salad that was listed as GF if the Asian marinade was left off the chicken. I asked over and over if the dish was safe. As soon as I took a bite I could taste the marinade. When I questioned the waitress she was clueless. A manager came over to apologize and tell me they were making me a new salad. I told her no thanks. They took the salad off the bill and offered a $15 gift card to come back. That should make up for my being sick for the next three days.
Many delicious choices to consider from a massive menu. Chedder buns add a chewy delicious compliment to a variety of burgers and sandwiches. Locally sourced meat, veggies, and brews are a plus. GF dessert option are also offered.
Awful. Specifically stated that both my friend and I were gluten free and ordered the gluten free chicken strips. They brought them over and we ate most of them and then our waiter finally came over and informed us that those in fact were not the gluten free chicken strips. Not celiac friendly.
I will give them some credit (two stars) that they do have a lot of GF options, my only complaint is the pizza... my son ordered a gluten free pizza which was so paper thin it couldn't hold the toppings, every time he would pick up a piece the toppings would fall off, completely inedible. The server asked if everything was ok (pizza was uneaten/fallen apart) when I explained he couldn't eat it, he acted as if that was how GF pizza just was and would we like a box? When I declined the to go box he put the check on the table and left, no apologies - just like tough luck, this is your crappy GF pizza. And we've had LOTS of decent GF pizza, yes, the crusts are thin, but, they are at least edible!!!
has the most options for gluten-free than most restaurants
The food here is so good! They have a lot of options for gf/celiac. The waitstaff seems pretty knowledgeable, and the menu even specifies that there is a separate gf fryer for fries and chips and even gf chicken tenders! I love the burgers (bread is cheese bread from the local Gluten Free Oasis and it's awesome) and pasta.
locally baked Brazilian cheese bread... locally baked gluten free cupcakes... absolutely delicious sandwich combos... great sweet potato fries, cooked in a dedicated fryer... these guys care about those who need to eat gluten free. the staff is awesome, the food is awesome, and the atmosphere is fun. you can't go wrong here!
I have tried this place 3 times since the Manchester Maggie McFlys has alway been successful celiac friendly. I have tried the burgers and most recently chicken nuggets. Within a half hour I get a headache and the stomach problems begin. Be cautious when eating here
The menu is well marked with the GF symbol, they will substitute pasta for gf pasta, fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer, and you can get a burger on a locally-made Brazilian Cheese Bread bun. Highly recommend.
Totally messed up the order multiple times. They brought me a regular pizza when I requested gluten-free. Twice. Not that I asked twice, I mean they did it twice. Go to Harry's in Glastonbury instead.
