5 stars for not getting sick but 3 stars for taste and lack of options for those that are also dairy free. I ended up getting 3 veggie side dishes as I was too overwhelmed with making sure my dish was both GF & DF. Overall good experience - yellow slip was filled out with allergies and signed off by manager and ran out separately to avoid cross contamination.
I was blown away with the quality, options and service at the Glenview location. On the two occasions I ventured to this Schaumburg location I have had a severe reaction. The last being two days ago. PLEASE BE AWARE. I even told the server that the time before I had gotten sick. My server insisted that there was no way I could have gotten sick the last time as the item I ordered was "naturally gluten free". Not only did I not appreciate her faul attitude, but her lack of concern and attention to my dietary needs was evident by this last trip. I was sick again within hours. I know it is general practice for the serve to inform the kitchen by filling out a yellow slip to go with the order, and generally the dish comes with a tag saying "allergy" on it, signifying that it was prepared as a gluten free dish. Neither of the times I have been here has this happened. Now I realise it wasn't just someone forgetting to put the tag on the dish when it was served, it was pure negligence and lack of care. I do hope their staff take GF dietary requests seriously, as people who suffer from celiac like myself do not simply choose to eat this way...

Biggest gluten free menu I've ever seen! Food was delicious, and they make their own gluten free buns and pizza dough. The staff was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend!
Hit or miss at this location. If you get a server that listens or cares, you should be fine. I've been there 10 times and I've been bit twice. Oak Brook Center location has never let me down.

Absolutely fabulous ! There are plenty of options, including gluten free bread. I highly recommend the flourless chocolate cake. Service was awesome as well. I will definitely be back!

Definitely a favorite of mine. Nice gf menu. They serve gf bread on separate plate as appetizer. Turkey burger on gf bun was great. Baked goat cheese & gf bread really good. And chocolate cake!

Wonderful. I always love going to Wildfire for their gluten free menu. Its so nice to get GF bread at a restaurant. Its the little things :) The last time I visited, I had the cedar planked salmon and it had to be one of the best things I've ever tasted. Seriously. I rarely finish all my food and I ate every last bite of my meal. So yummy! I always will go to Wildfire for a fancy dinner occasion!

I thought this place was completely overrated. I had heard SO much about this place and was really looking forward to my visit. Things started off well with a tasty GF bread as appetizer. Then we got ready to order. I was pleased to see that they offered GF hamburgers *with* a bun! But I quickly noticed that many of the GF menu option simply modified their regular options... By skipping the sauces!! Personally, I don't need a "special menu" to tell me I can make an item gluten free if I skip the sauce. To me, a true GF menu would involve offering substitute sauces that are GF. Anyway. I ordered salmon and my mom ordered a GF hamburger. My sauce-free salmon was incredibly dry and kinda tasteless in comparison to my sister's (she compared them since hers was not GF). The "hamburger bun" was actually the same bread used as the appetizer. We liked it better as an appetizer. It really didn't taste or have proper texture to be a hamburger bun. It was the type of GF bread that literally falls apart if it gets wet. And that's exactly what it did. By the time the hamburger arrived, it had already soaked through the bun so the whole thing was a wet, soggy mess. All in all, service was friendly and nice but the product seems overpriced and a little under par to me. I'd rather go elsewhere for those prices.

Been here many times. GF menu available. Server will offer GF bread. Husband had the Spinach salad which is always tasty and he did not get sick later. I had the Grilled Chicken Wildorf salad. Unfortunately, the chicken was overdone and dry which is unusual for this place. The salad itself was great without the chicken, so ask for it without the chicken and croutons.
They have a dedicated gluten free menu with many options! Our waiter brought us gluten free rolls which were delicious! They are really good about not cross contaminating. I ordered gluten free pizza and it was really delicious! I also had their flourless chocolate cake which was gluten free of course. Really good food and really understanding about my condition.
Hi my name is makenna I have celiac, This place was the best. They had a whole separated menu for gluten free and very nice and understanding waiters. I recommend the flour-less chocolate cake. Also they wipe their counters more than once and they even have gluten free bread when you first sit down. I had a cheese burger and it was the best one I ever had even without celiac. I would highly suggest wildfire.
Jesse the bartender and staff were great. food was excellent. they make their own in house bread, buns, and pizza crusts. I got the. bison burger. it was good. the only problem is that the bun disintegrated. I made a suggestion that you have to toast the heck out of the buns, especially if you are using moist ingredients or a juicy burger. enjoy
I attended a family dinner in a private room with a set menu last evening at Wildfire. I called the restaurant the day before to speak to Nicole, the event manager, about my dietary restrictions. She assured me that they could adapt almost everything on the set menu to be gluten free and safe for me to eat. I was asked to inform a server when I arrived that I had celiac. The staff was amazing and very attentive in letting me know which foods were gluten free and making sure I had a safe option for every course. I can honestly say it is the best gluten free food I’ve eaten. Several family members who do not have my dietary restrictions tried some of my GF options and thought they were delicious too. For an appetizer I had a goat cheese & mushroom mini pizza which was fabulous. My Vegetarian son loved & ate more of that than I did. I had two GF salads: a chopped kale salad and a chopped mixed salad with chicken - both salads were flavorful & outstanding. Main entree choices were chicken and salmon. I ate the chicken and it was amazing and so tender. For dessert there were two GF choices: a flourless warm fudge brownie that was heavenly and vanilla ice cream with fresh berries and GF granola that was delicious and visually appealing. I really cannot extend enough praise about how wonderful the food and service was at Wildfire. So refreshing to go to a restaurant and not have to worry if my food is safe for me to eat or feel like your restrictions are an inconvenience.
Incredibly knowledgeable staff, huge gluten free menu and delicious food. The GF chopped salad, macadamia nut crusted halibut and flourless chocolate cake were all delicious! And I did not get sick from cross-contamination. Great restaurant for celiacs!!!
The best GF experience I've had anywhere. They didn't just have GF offerings, they had a complete 2 page menu of items like any other diner would receive. Even the blue cheese dressing and Bernaise sauces were safe. The croutons in the salads were fantastic and the French onion soup is as delicious as a non-GF version. I've also never had more attentive service.
This is a swanky place. We are visiting my finace's friends after just getting engaged. We had reservations, and they knew someone was coming in who had issues with any cross-contamination. They assure us, and we make the reservation based largely on Find Me GF reviews. We got to our table, and they had a GF menu out for me. Cool. I ask the waiter for details on dedicated equipment. He doesn't know anything about the kitchen or gluten. He goes back and finds out that they have a ton of shared equipment that they 'clean really well.'. YIKES!!!!!!! A total of three people came by my table, and I got to say NO THANKS repeatedly to each person. They never said what their job is at Wildfire. This is all happening in front of my finace's friends with conflicting info from the staff each time, which is damn embarrassing and terrifying. My fiance is wondering if his life will always be like this from now on. I'm just having water. Glad I ate before I left the house because it smells good.
This place was amazing! We came here for Valentine's day (with a reservation) and the server was incredibly attentive to my gluten free needs. All of my food came out with a little allergen label on it. The gluten free menu was huge, and had so many options! The chocolate lava cake was perfect for two people. PS, they participated in winter restaurant week, I'm hoping they do so again! I will definitely be coming back.
I ate at Wildfire in McLean, VA for the first time last night. Great food, great service. They have a completely separate area for cooking their gluten-free items to prevent cross-contact. Extensive GF menu with a variety of choices. I opted for the Seafood Newburg Pasta and a side of balsamic roasted vegetables. The portions were generous with enough leftover to have for lunch today. They have excellent GF bread that they bake in-house from scratch. It was so nice to have a yummy, "normal" dining experience!
Extensive Gluten-Free menu with many choices. Fantastic GF pizza. Homemade GF bread. The GF Baked French Onion Soup is outstanding. Gluten-Free menu includes appetizers, pizza, salads, pasta, steaks and chops, seafood, chicken, burgers and sandwiches, and deserts. I have dined here multiple times; the servers are all well trained and attentive to your dietary restrictions. Your food is marked with a toothpick type label to avoid kitchen and server confusion. I never worry when dining here and always enjoy the food. Jan 2017 update. Visited again and had the Parmesan Crusted Alaskan Cod. Fish was perfectly prepared and rivaled any fish entree anywhere.
Everything was delicious and we had no concerns about cross contact. We enjoyed steaks and the macadamia nut crusted halibut, Au Gratin potatoes and other sides - all very tasty! The GF bread served before the meal was good too. The server was very well informed and we felt safe eating there.
Rather disappointed after reading great reviews. Ordered food to go. The onion soup had a big label on top saying "GF No crouton." I opened the lid and there was a huge crouton inside so soaked in soup that it fell apart into tiny pieces when I tried to remove it. I ordered the pizza and requested goat cheese on top. The pizza cake with no goat cheese and when I pointed that out, the carry out guy took the pizza away and sprinkled goat cheese on top and brought it right back, without cooking or even reheating it to melt the cheese. I ordered a filet medium well and it was rare.
First time here and it was fantastic. They have gluten free bread, which is very close to the real deal (rice based). I applaud the chef for a great job on the menu as the selection is huge, and great tasting. It's is pricey but this is fresh and that's what matters.
I had a great experience here while here on business! My waitress was very knowledgeable and I also spoke with the manager Jill who both assured me I wouldn't have a problem. They were knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. They brought gluten free bread to the table and the French onion soup was made with the same bread, delicious!the steak was cooked to perfection as well. One of the biggest gluten free menus I've ever seen. So glad I came here!
