Great options for gluten allergy. The scramble was excellent. GF pancakes were great, too.

Banana Fosters gluten friendly pancakes were delicious. Be prepared-they are very sweet.
Scrambled eggs were undercooked and runny in the middle. I couldn’t eat them.
Bacon was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Went with my celiac husband for breakfast today, we confirmed several times he had an allergy and not just a sensitivity and they reassured us they use separate pans, etc and take precautions to prevent any exposure. They told us to stay away from potatoes which we did and there was a miscommunication and they gave him the wrong food which made him nervous. They fixed their error and got him a new omelet and he did end up with a reaction soon after. I WILL say I appreciate the separate menu, and that they warned us that their food is not guaranteed to be GF but they try to limit. The waiter also really did seem to knowledgeable with what was best or worst to get. You’re rolling the dice eating here for sure if you have celiac.

Awful breakfast. Gluten friendly menu but no separate toaster. Overpriced and I barely ate my eggs because they were drenched in butter. Grits were gross and I couldn’t get the bread toasted. My daughter liked the pancakes.

This place is not Gluten Free. They label everything (including the bread) "Gluten-Friendly". There is zero accountability for your safety. Worse than this, there is a "Gluten-Friendly" Omelette with "crab meat" listed. When I asked if it was actual crab meat I was told from the kitchen that it's a generic branded imitation (wheat containing) crab meat on the "gluten-friednly" menu! Their bread is labeled "Gluten-Friendly" and is "cooked in the same machine as regular bread" as our server was told by the kitchen staff, so all bread is CC. If you have any allergy or are Celiac like me, please avoid this place for your own safety. Their menu is misleading and you will not feel comfortable here with any level of cross contamination.
Full disclosure, I still ordered here due to lack of options in the area as were passing through. I had the Skinny Omelette to hedge my bets for CC. The omelette was overcooked and overall Nothing special, nor worth the risk.

Excellent place! Been here several times and have never had any issues. Gluten free choices are plentiful and the choice can never be the wrong one when it comes to this establishment. An early morning breakfast would make the most sense so you don’t have to wait or go at super busy times! Staff are very knowledgable and food is delicious! This is a must if in Tuscaloosa!

Good gluten free menu with a lot of options. Their gluten free pancakes are some of the best I’ve had! The lemon flavoring with them was delicious. Definitely come hungry as you will have a lot of options to choose between and good sized portions. No known dedicated cooking surfaces so definitely something to watch for.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Worst ever!! They COMPLETELY screwed up the order!! They added chocolate chips to my gluten free pancakes with butter run sauce and it was GROSS plus added a bunch of sugar and dairy that I’m also to avoid. All the food was delivered ICE COLD and they completely spaced a omelette in the order so my partner had no breakfast because when we called about the issue they expected us to pick up the item THEY MISSED IN THE ORDER, when my partner got understandably upset because if we felt like picking up food we would not have paid for delivery…. I am not even sure my pancakes were gluten free because I am feeling sick but it could have been the chocolate chip ms THEY decided to add that were NOT REQUESTED!!! Horrible, BEWARE OF this restaurant…. Was such a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE that we are calling their corporate headquarters to discuss, especially if I end up throwing up because that will confirm they didn’t make the pancakes gluten free and that will be the final straw….if they added chocolate chips, what are the odds they remembered gluten free pancake mix, this restaurant is COMPLETELY unsafe for anyone who has food sensitivities

shared grill top for pancakes but they sanitize it before preparing the GF pancakes - normally as a celiac this would be a no-go for me, but I gave it a shot and got the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes.
they were alright - nothing spectacular, but the baked bacon and the chicken apple sausage were really, really good!
cute atmosphere and precautions put in place, also have a GF menu.

There is a separate Gluten Friendly menu with many options, the gluten friendly pancakes are made on a dedicated section of the griddle but can be made in a pan if you ask them to. The eggs are made in a pan. My pancakes were marked with a colored toothpick.
If you have a severe allergy/celiacs speak to the chef or manager to clarify anything you’re unsure about.
The gluten free pancake texture reminds me of protein shake.

As soon as I walked in I told the gentleman host I has never been here before and I have a gluten allergy I was wondering if they had gluten free options. He was very kind and said yes of course I'll get you a gluten fee menu :) The waitress was very kind and knowledgeable too. I ordered the spinach veggie bacon scramble with avocado and fruit. I had the house warm coffee and vanilla creamer. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The food and coffee was delicious! The atmosphere of the cafe was super cute too.

It was extremely slow, told server we had an allergy and were told potatoes weren’t safe and ordered fruit. The omelet still came out with a regular English muffin and potatoes. They took it back and just switched out the muffin for GF bread. Some stuff came out with allergy sticks and some stuff didn’t. We were told by server when we asked about the sticks that she already removed it. On a positive note, the coffee was great.

FANTASTIC, AWESOME… probably the best breakfast place I’ve ever enJOYed! DELICIOUS GF options, creative dishes, flexible and accommodating! I enjoyed the bourbon street pancakes made gluten-free. They understand allergies and sensitivities, and will adjust accordingly! The entire staff is exceptional. And they have awesome and creative bloody Mary’s. This includes vodka infused with colorful bell peppers, one of their signature drinks. Highly recommended.!!! ♥
(FYI, I did not ask for a gluten-free menu because items were clearly marked and the weight staff was Uber helpful when I told them I was gluten and dairy free)

I had heard amazing things about the pancakes, so had to check it out. Our waitress was not very knowledgeable so I asked for the manager he informed me that they clean the griddle, change utensils, and gloves, and treat all allergies as if it were their own allergy. I had the lemon, blueberry, feta cheese, pancakes, and they were amazing.
