Amazing pizza with really good crust- doesn’t taste gf! I’ve been coming here for years and the waiters are always incredibly knowledgeable (I think one of the head chefs has celiac). The pizza is cooked in a tin and is prepared and sliced in a separate area. They also have delicious gluten free brownie sundaes! Definitely come here whenever you’re in Portland!

Great pizza and GF menu options are prepared in a dedicated area and then cooked in the brick oven but on a foil tray to prevent cross contamination.

I will admit that I was terrified I was going to be sick here after watching them prep all of the non-GF pizzas and seeing how much flour is flying around. My pizza was prepped in the back and came out separately, and I did not end up sick! The crust was delicious and the pizza was actually a full sized pizza. Waiter was able to answer questions about whether certain sauces and toppings were gluten free

I get really nervous about pizza because there’s so much room for cross contact but server explained that they prep the pizzas in a separate area and they are cooked above the gluten free pizzas on individual pans and they use dedicated tools. I did not have any reaction and pizza was really good (and nice to have a full size pie even if a small upcharge from the regular dough). Had a salad here too that was very fresh. Would recommend.

this place is amazing! they prepare all the gf things separately and the pizza is to die for! i usually get a plain cheese pizza, without the sauce lol. (if you can tell, i hate tomato sauce!) 100% recommend! i’ve been to lots of different locations, and they’re all delicious and amazing with gf and cc! also, i don’t remember which location, but one of them has bowling and an arcade!

Terrible experience for the 2nd time. Our daughter has Celiac and they had to remake her pizza 3 times!!! The kitchen staff did not follow safety protocols at all, her gluten allergy was not taken seriously until the third time when a manager got involved. When we got there I informed our waitress of my daughter’s allergy and that she had Celiac, we discussed the safety protocols. I let her know that last time we were there they used the same pizza cutter on my daughter’s GF pizza as they did on the regular pizza. The waitress discussed the concerns with the kitchen but they still did not follow their own safety protocols. The amount of cross contamination we witnessed was terrifying. We will never eat here again. They put my daughter at risk multiple times. If we had not been watching them she would have gotten sick. The kitchen staff needs way more training when it comes to food allergies.

They have a separate oven just for gluten free and GF pizzas are made in the back salad bar area with clean ingredients. The pizza was delicious and safe! In addition the waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. They do have a GF brownie Sundae, but we did not try it.

Was exhausted from working 60 hours and then flew from FL to RI. Was able to order GF pizza and have it delivered. I absolutely love this place. I got the pepperoni and mushroom pizza with extra toppings. I also got the chicken bacon ranch pizza with extra toppings, this one was surprisingly my favorite one. I'm not usually a fan of ranch anything. Also, the delivery was flawless, they messaged me as they were pulling up and all I had to do was open the door, the guy handed it to me and left. Payment was taken care of online. I had the option to put "gluten allergy" on everything I ordered and felt really safe. I also didn't get sick and still have pizza leftover. đ LOVE this place. They also have GF beer and dessert options.

They prepare all the gf pizza in a completely separate area, they cook the pizzas in their own tinfoil pans in the shared oven, and have dedicated pizza cutters for gf. It was absolutely delicious, would 100% go again. The only annoying thing is that gf crust is an additional $5!!! Not a cheap pizza.

What a find! Traveling through Providence and my son found this restaurant in the app. It was excellent!! They are great with gluten allergies/celiac, they have a separate oven and prep area and also good with vegan options too. We got two pizzas and a gf brownie sundae and ate every last bite!! It’s in a great area near the local colleges with a small parking lot. We will definitely be back when driving through RI.

They really are knowledgable and careful about the prep to avoid cross contact, but it's still a risk. You are able to split ant pizza in half so you can try multiple toppings. My stomach was a little off after eating here, probably some minor cc.

Great for gf and vegan!!! The gf crust is made in separate kitchen area and then cooked completely covered in aluminum foil to avoid cross contamination. Delicious, fire oven baked style crust. Servers are great about making sure your pizza is kept separate and many options for toppings. Vegan cheese is good. Also, try the gf v dessert!!! A luscious chocolate torte!

Called ahead to see what precautions they use when preparing the gluten free pizza. They said that while they can’t guarantee 0% risk and do cook it in the same pizza oven, but they prepare it in an area separate from gluten items, change gloves, use clean utensils, scoop ingredients from separate containers, and bake it on a tray so it doesn’t touch the surface of the pizza oven.
Pizza was delicious and I didn’t experience any symptoms.

Just ordered my son a pizza to go from here. They were very knowledgeable about cross contamination. It was really good sized. He has Celiac and did not get sick. Highly recommend.
We are regular customers throughout their New England locations. They are great with GF pizza. The Portland location literally just switched to a new, locally made GF crust. It is terrific - none of that gummy texture you can get with a GF crust. If you haven’t liked the GF pizza here before, give it another try.

I ordered takeout from here and had no problems. I called ahead and confirmed that the gluten free toppings are kept separate (they said the use stuff from the salad station, and there are no croutons on the station). Pizza is cooked separately on a separate pan. It’s a bit expensive and they aren’t super generous with the toppings, which is a bit of a bummer, but overall, I had a very positive experience.

Mikey is an ALL STAR waiter. I have never felt so comfortable eating out. He personally talked with the staff to ensure that I would be eating safely. Him and the manager walked me through the precautions that they take, told me what the safety, and notified the kitchen in person to be cautious. I had an incredible meal. I will definitely be back. Even there salad dressing is gluten free. Made with tamari. And it’s delicious! They offer vegan cheese too. They prepare AND cook the food Celiac safe. They wash their hands, change their gloves, take clean, toppings, and cook it in It’s own pan. A must go if you’re in the area!!

Don’t know what the kitchen actually looks like but they claim separate area for GF prep. GF and regular pizzas were really good (and we have a lot of good GF pizza near home), salad was really fresh with amazing goat cheese and dressing, beers (non-GF) were good, and was nice to sit outside near water. Service was great.

Updated review: A little over a year later, I couldn't wait to get back to this place! Unfortunately, it let me down big time.
Service is everything, and our server dropped the ball.
I mentioned that I had to eat GF, and noted that I didn't get sick eating there before. I ordered my personal pizza GF, and the rest of the fam had their pizzas.
Mine came out burnt and covered in burnt flour. I lifted it and could see that it was cooked directly in the oven.
I called our server over and asked how it was cooked and she said it was prepared and cooked with the other pizzas... then she asked if my order was "allergy".
Yes, I have to eat GF... not an option here.
Anyways, if you go here be very clear and request safety precautions. They will prepare your pizza in another room and wrap it in foil to place in the oven, then use other slicers to cut it. Still not super safe but I didn't get sick...
Previous review: 1000%... eat here! Very knowledgeable staff, super fresh food, great options! I ate here 2 days in a row... so good!

I think this is just about as safe as you can get for pizza that isn’t at a gluten free facility. The crust comes par-baked from a gluten free facility. Pizza is a different shape than gluten pizzas. If you ask, they will bake it on foil, as it does get placed directly in the pizza oven. Have eaten here several times and not gotten sick. Pizza is very expensive, though even not gluten free pizzas run pretty expensive there

Service here was great! Flatbread came out quick and salad was tasty. Lots of beer choices and they had super safe GLUTEN FREE pizzas and salads. It made my wife, who has celiac disease, feel really safe. The crust was prepared and cooked on an aluminum pan to avoid cross contamination and the toppings were so varied that it did not get boring. It would have been nice if they were more generous with said toppings though. Great food and great atmosphere and the wood fired oven made everything unique.
