I wanted to love it but didn’t. My gf bun was very crumbly and overall my burger wasn’t very flavorful. I got the sweet potato tots but they were pretty soggy. However they were extremely knowledgeable. I’d likely do a salad next time though if I ended up there again.

My family and I were looking for restaurants near us with gluten free options. We walked into a few restaurants and no one really had a clear answer as to what was gluten free and what wasn’t. We just finished eating at Wahlburgers and our server was very educated on what items were safe and not safe. I wasn’t very hungry so I got a Caesar salad with no crutons and truffle fries. They have gluten free buns for sandwiches and burgers. All their fries are prepared in their own fryer so they are 100% gluten free. Would come back!

The manager, Ben, was extremely knowledgeable. They have Udi’s buns and a dedicated fryer for fries. Our server brought us a sample of sauces and upon passing by Ben grabbed the BBQ sauce and said “this isn’t GF!”. Delicious meal, great service.

My husband surprised me with food from here. He asked staff about gluten-free options, and they said they had gluten-free buns and fried their tots and French fries in a dedicated fryer. My food was even put in a separate bag from my husband's regular food. I had a burger and tots. The bun was the best I have ever tasted. Burger was really good, as were the tots. I was amazed at their knowledge and care taken. I do not have issues with cross-contact and am not technically celiac and did not have any issues with the food.

Went here for a quick bite, twice while visiting. For whatever reason one guy said the fryer was okay for gf, but the other said it wasn't. So safe to say I didn't risk it... Got a burger, no side, both days (once dine-in and once take-out), and didn't get sick.

When ordering, I inquired about the cost of the GF bun and the waitress said there was no extra cost! How could it be when gluten free options are usually $3+ more? I ordered the burger with the Gf bun and it was great. Better than your average GF bun, but still I was comforted that it was falling apart a little, so I knew it was truly GF. If you know, you know.
The actual patty wasn’t the greatest and the lettuce was that like you find at Subway, but overall, the gf bun (at no extra cost!) made it all worth it. I’ll get my burger medium well next time and see if that makes a difference. It was sorta like a cafeteria burger.

They were VERY knowledgeable regarding gluten free, they offer gf buns and the fries are made in a dedicated gf fryer. The kitchen staff changes their gloves and makes sure everything is properly cooked and no cross contamination. While they don’t have a specific gf menu almost everything on their menu can be gf. Highly recommend!

This is inside Hy-Vee I thought it might be a safe bet as I have had good experiences at standalone Wahlburgers, however I am not feeling good today and the quality was not very good, the staff was friendly though, but that's not enough to prevent cross contamination unfortunately.

The food is really good. Dedicated fryer for fries and tater tots. Gluten free bun. I have never been Glutenated here. They are very careful just advise you have a gluten allergy. My favorite is the Barbeque Bacon burger with fries. I love their fries and tater tots too!! Service is good. But no gluten free menu but they will let you know when you as k.

We stopped with my celiac 5 year old. She got a gf grilled cheese and fries (dedicated fryer). They have a lot of kids meal options that can be modified to GF - grilled cheese, burgers, hot dog (no bun), grilled chicken tenders. My daughter loved it. They were familiar with my ask about GF protocol with asking them to use new kitchen utensils and take care with her food to minimize gluten cross contamination. We will be back again

This was the best restaurant burger I've had in a long time! The burger was extremely juicy and flavorful, and used an Udis brand bun. The bun did end up a little soggy, but was still delicious. They offered french fries, sweet potato fries, and tots, all in a dedicated fryer, and all came in very healthy portions. Our server had allergies in the family and knew exactly what she was talking about. An amazing experience over all!

One of very few gf options in the area. Tots and fries are celiac safe
Slow service but friendly waitstaff once they get to you. I’ve been here a couple times. The gluten free bun is excellent when fresh but one of the times I ordered it the bun was hard and dried out. Amazing adult milkshakes though they are made differently by some staff members (some do them all up with fun sauces and sprinkles on the glass and some don’t). My sister and I appreciate the hockey, both times we’ve stopped in they were playing international hockey.

I love eating here when I’m craving a burger because they have the best GF bun but I kept getting mixed answers about separate fryers and Wahl sauce. I got glutened the last few visits. This last time I was there I was told there were no separate friers for the tots and fries and to skip the sauce. I’ve had no reactions this time so if you’re wanting to try it out that’s what I’d recommend. The burger and side salad were both great as usual!

I strongly stated that I have to have 100% gluten free food due to having celiac disease. I ordered the “Our Burger” with a gluten free bun and fries and I was immediately sick afterwards. I’m now home sick in bed. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR CELIACS!!!

I have eaten here with my family and friends every time I’m in town and have had no issues! They do have GF buns but I don’t take chances with buns unless it’s back home and I’m familiar with the restaurant. Too risky for me. I always get the lettuce wrap burgers, tots and fries! Safe burger and fries. Gf bun is the type that falls apart. Asked for burger well done and there was some pink in the middle but very light so I ate it. Server was excellent and knowledgeable. Burger came out with an allergy stick in it so I didn't have to ask if it was gluten free.

Dedicated fryer for French fries/tater tots. They have GF buns. Can watch live feed of cooks prepping food on TV in dining room. They reportedly wash hands and change gloves between orders. They reportedly leave dedicated spot on grill for GF items. I eat Jenns chicken sandwich and fries. I specify gluten allergy, request GF Bun, must specify grilled chicken (or will give crispy which not GF), request without crispy onions. Menu states before placing order to inform staff of any food allergies. Burgers also good option just make sure toppings GF.

Despite what the staff may tell you (and confirm after repeated questions) the chicken tenders are NOT gluten-free. After my daughter threw up I called back the next day and the manager confirmed. I asked them to retrain their staff and the response was “well mistakes happen”. This was our first experience and we wanted to love it but sadly won’t be back.

I’ve gone here about 5 times and they wash hands and change gloves between each order. They have a dedicated fryer so the fries and tots are so good. They have gluten free buns. However this last time I went they used gluten free bread with our burgers instead. Food is delicious but it does take a long time to get it even when there isn’t many orders. They will tell you they can’t guarantee cross contamination (but what restaurant doesn’t say that). Sensitive celiac never gotten sick from here.

I was at the Carmel Indiana location and had excellent service, the waiter was extremely knowledgeable about celiac and was able to help show me what was available to choose from, the wahl sauce is gluten free and they have dedicated fryers. He did say the bbq sauce is NOT gluten free. They have gluten free bun. Food was amazing, very pleased and I did not get sick, I am extremely sensitive to even the slightest cross contamination. The menu does not label each item as gluten free that could be made gluten free. But the server was able to help me with the process. Would definitely eat there again!
