I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but…My daughter has celiacs so eating out is a struggle, especially on the road. We picked BJ's bc they have gf buns. But they went above and beyond for my daughter. Our server Deja HANDCUT her French fries and then oven cooked them so there was no cross contamination with the fryers and had their manager cook her onions and mushrooms bc the kitchen was busy and she wanted to make sure it was right. I couldn't have asked for a better server or food for her!

I love their burgers/sandwiches. The server did warn me that the fries are cooked in a shared fryer, but it didn’t make me sick. So I guess they must change their oil out frequently or something.

I really love BJ’s as an easy place to eat out. They’re super knowledgeable about gf things and while I didn’t ask about specific practices, as soon as I said I had celiac’s, the server reassured me. And honestly the food tastes great. I had a burger and the gluten-free pizookie and it was delicious! My ice cream was even served from a brand new package to be extra safe. Didn’t get sick, would definitely come back.

Gluten Sensitive Option items marked on menu (appetizers, salads, entrees). Gluten free buns available for burgers. Gluten free pizza option. I had a Strawberry fields chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was average good.
The service was horrible, we felt like we were at an invisible table. The large group that arrived well after we ordered received their food before ours. And our 3 orders came out piece meal from the kitchen. We had to ask multiple times for items we ordered, for refills and for our change once we paid the bill.

Well I went back and got glutened again!! Never going back there.
I’ve gotten pizzas here and had pretty good luck with them, but last time I got a Caesar salad with chicken, told them I was celiac, and was puking within an hour.

They have a special GF menu with lots of options. My son had the GF BQ pizza and liked it a lot. He’s very sensitive and didn’t have any issues. If you have room the GF pizza cookie w ice cream is crazy good!! I used open table to make my reservation.

I’ve gone here twice and got the gf pizza and I have asked if they make the pizzas in a clean area away from gluten foods and they always tell me yes. And they will also note that I have a gluten allergy so they are extra careful. They also have trulys and their own berry cider which are gluten free alcohol drinks.

My server was great, she was knowledgeable about Celiac and made sure the GF pizza I ordered was prepared safely. She also checked the ranch when I asked about it. The menu has several gluten “sensitive” options and the only things labeled gluten free were the pizza and a pizzookie so I ordered the thin crust pizza and it was good

Every location will have it's own experience, like most chains. I've had good luck at this location. I've had a burger and really enjoy their chicken bacon ranch pizza. They used to carry a gluten reduced beer (stone delicious ipa) but now they just have regular stone. That's my only complaint.

My girlfriend had the pizookie and a lettuce wrap burger and was completely fine, but this time when she ordered the gluten free pizookie she ended up having a stomach ache immediately. Most likely got cross-contaminated, I don't advise going here or trusting their gluten free options as they aren't very specific about it.

Each BJ has pretty mixed reviews, decided this one seemed safer from others, still got glutened. I don’t have issues with cross contamination but do have issues consuming gluten. I followed their online guide and all the food served seemed gluten free. I still had a bad reaction. I think the company just has no idea what they are doing. I noticed a GF labeled salad had couscous which is made from wheat, this gave me doubt on their labels. Ordered a GF bun with my burger and mashed potatoes, I felt gross within moments. Don’t know which it was, just know I wouldn’t risk going to this chain again. Edit: Worst gluten reaction I’ve had in a VERY long time

Although I feel confident they did great to ensure gluten free - celiac safe, they have a severe lack of options for dairy free. In addition, the fries are in a shared frier. The pizzas can be gluten free but they don’t have vegan cheese. The cider tap is dedicated cider, so that is safe. So, gluten free- good. Vegan/dairy free extremely limited options. And, diary free/vegan is not labeled on the menu so the server had to go back and forth to the kitchen many times to answer dairy free options. She did a great job ensuring she had the correct answer for us.

They do have a GF menu— you have to ask for it. I’ll take pics below. It’s much more limited than the very extensive regular menu. Also, unfortunately the fryer is not gluten-free so the fries, ribs and chicken wings are contaminated and not on the GF menu. What is on it, though, are burgers with a gluten-free bun, salads, some steaks, pork chops, salmon, pizza, and a vegan bowl. Also they have a gluten-free cookie dessert called a “Pizookie”, —of course the regular pizookie is not gluten-free but they make a gluten-free one also, out of almond flour. I had a cheeseburger with GF bun and a salad with a hard cider. It was delicious! Good experience overall.

I’ve eaten here a few times. Always better to go when it’s not very busy, as theres a higher risk of cross-contamination. I’ve heard good things about their burgers but the fries are not safe, so i usually get the gf pizza and havent had any issues. Sadly, every time i order the supposedly gf pizookie, i get sick. Not sure if it’s the ice cream they use on top or if it’s just not truly gluten free. I’ve asked staff multiple times about it and they don’t seem to have an answer for it.

There is a gluten sensitive menu online but no separate gf menu onsite. Items are marked with a tiny symbol that I found hard to see even when I knew what I was looking for. They recently discovered the broccoli cheddar soup wasn’t gf and it’s no longer designated as such. I had the tomato and mozzarella salad which was absolutely amazing. I also had cheese pizza. The crust was just ok but overall the pizza was tasty. I was so happy to be able to have a pizzookie for dessert.

I don’t really know how to rate my experience. When I was there, I ordered a salad and the broccoli soup because they were marked gluten free. It came up in conversation later that I had celiac disease and the waiter let me know that the broccoli cheddar soup, which I had just eaten, contained gluten. Pretty sick today and disappointed in their un updated menu.

Important Update: Be sure to tell your server if it's a gluten allergy. There are not a lot of options really but the steak is decent, gf pizza. If the server seems confused in any way when you say the word gluten then ask for the manager.
I have eaten here multiple times and have not gotten sick. Gluten free pizookie is amazing, I have had burgers with gluten free vun, gluten free pizzas and steaks. Prime rib is not gluten free because of the rub apparently. But the speaks are good. Fries I have been told are not in separate fryer so celiac don't get fries. Ciders are ok have your typical choices. We come here a lot because I don't have a lot of safe options in town so if you are celiac you should be ok. Most servers are knowledgeable and the manager is really nice.

I have eaten here several times, and although I am asymptomatic, I have appreciated that they have a gluten-free menu, and seem to take it seriously when I tell them I have celiac disease. I usually order the power bowl with chicken, which is quinoa-based, has all naturally gluten-free ingredients, and is delicious. It is offered with different proteins, too. And yes, they do have a gluten-free Pazooki which is a giant warm cookie with ice cream on top! They do have a gluten-free menu online.

The waitress was new, so I don’t think she could properly communicate gluten-free needs with the kitchen. It took a long time to get a gluten free menu and a while for her to go back and forth to the kitchen. Eventually another woman (I’m assuming manager?) came over to help and gave me a menu. While the service was blah, the food was great and I wasn’t contaminated š
