Lunch on the 11th was great. Was informed their onion straws were GF, kitchen staff caught the error and came out to chat. Subbed for grilled green beans and carrots.
Came back on 13th for dinner and a very different experience. Staff was not confident. Cashier argued that the onion straws were GF (def not) and the kitchen didn't seem to know about the grilled beans and carrots. Kitcheb staff also stacked prep bowls on top of veggies while they sat in window (gross), and definitely cross contaminated (and then they argued that they didnt do it).
Do NOT tip when you order, as they prompt you. Make them prove themselves first.

Great experience. Gluten free bun was delicious and fries are done in a separate fryer.

I love this spot! They have a dedicated fryer for the fries and lots of burger options. The gluten free bun is nicely toasted as well and they prepare it safely for celiacs.

The website makes the food look much better than it is. The only good feedback is that the GF fries are truly that and I had no reaction. Probably not going to return here.

Burgers with GF buns, They have a dedicated friyer fo GF fries. There shakes are also GF. Food was all very good. They do have a separate GF munu that you need to ask for. View of the river is nice plus. The manager behind the counter, understood and was able to answer my questions. If there was a worry, it was that they were crazy busy, so you trust the kitchenis following all there rules of foodseparation. Butthat is true of any restaurant. It workedout for me. I am looking forward to going back.

I ordered a takeout build your own burger with a GF bun, fries. My items were in a separate bag from the gluten items in my order for another family member. I had no signs of being sick after! Food tasted great. I got minimal toppings since I couldn’t confirm gluten-containing sauces so I played it safe with just cheese and onions

I ate here and I did not get gluten contamination from what I can tell. I am not celiac though. I had a hamburger with the gluten-free bun. It was delicious. They said the house made potato chips were gluten free and they were tasty as well.

Ordered burger plain with cheese and bacon. Stated multiple times that I had to have gluten free, and worried about cross contamination. Stated the fryer was dedicated to the fries only, so they should have been safe.. The bun was definitely a gluten free bun, but obviously they grilled my gluten free bun! I shouldn't have eaten it, but did because I thought they would have toasted or grilled separately from others. I was sick the rest of the day! Never again!

Had a burger with a gluten free bun here. I saw a review about the fries so instead I had a bag of Lay’s chips. No issues at all. You can’t toast the bread because it’s the same toaster as gluten bread. They also changed gloves and told the cook about my allergy so I appreciated the extra attention.

Delicious gf burgers and shakes in a fun, unique atmosphere. The cashier was confusing gluten free with lactose free, but her coworker was on top of it! Gf buns were good, fries and topping are gf and delicious. It was a great stop!

Mariam was knowledgeable about cross contamination. Got a gluten free bison burger on a gluten free bun ( which Mariam pointed out couldn’t be toasted due to other buns on the same line ) and fries. I’m celiac, with a dairy and nut allergy and she made me feel heard and safe. Her effort was awesome and it was a much needed real meal during a long travel day.

Food was terrible. Ordered a burger with a GF bun and the response was "we don't have that". It's on the menu. Got a lettuce wrap instead. The burger they brought out was unseasoned and the cheese on top wasn't even melted. My husband (no dietary restrictions) said his burger wasn't great either. The fries were meh. I don't even complain much about food at places but this was 100% waste of time & money.

We tried it although members of our party had both Celiac, corn and other food allergies. Although gluten-free was available on the menu, corn is not marked and is in everything these days. Unfortunately, members of the party left feeling off: itchy mouth, bloating, etc, so not all precautions were taken. Made for some uncomfortable days following. Would not return.

They understand gluten free and claim the fries are gluten free. Offer a gluten free bun. Always found their food excellent and this will be my first try since celiac diagnosis. I’m hopeful because this is a groovy place.
Follow up; I had absolutely no issues. The gluten free buns are great, and the burger was its normal “out of this world”.

This place is great for gluten free. Tons of protein options. I had Buffalo added to my kale salad. The fries are fried in a dedicated fryer so celiac safe. They have buckets of different flavored pickles that are fun! Friendly and efficient staff. The restaurant itself is a bit sticky and dark. There are projectors playing sports and music so I understand the low lighting but it also makes the atmosphere a little weird. Will def be back!

Got glutened. Asked about toppings that are gf (cheese, bacon, etc) and the reply was “all good”. When I pressed for specifics, I got the same answer. Asked for a manager and he assured me the American cheese and bacon were ok. Not so! The fryer is dedicated and the fries were good (hand cut, fresh) but definitely would not go back.

I just ate YUMMY gluten free burgers and fries! Frank is the manager, he is super nice and patient. Alanda is the front of house person who took care of me, from start to finish! She looked at ingredients with me, made sure I was comfortable, went back to talk to the kitchen, and really could not have been nicer!!!!!! She didn’t make me feel stupid at all for being so “uptight”. The food was amazing, and I could tell it was all gluten free. They use Udi’s buns…very good. My husband (also GF) got the classic burger with grilled onions. I got the tex burger with grilled onions instead of the friend onions. And we split a loaded fries (treat yo self fries). The fries are made in a dedicated gluten free fryer. The fries and the burgers tasted wonderful, and we will be back! We will probably come here once a week. I felt totally safe, and they made sure to put GLUTEN ALLERGY and also go back and talk to the kitchen. Overall very good experience. The peppercorn ranch, the chipotle ranch, and the ancho ketchup are all gluten free! We used them for our fries and our burgers. YUMMY! Thank you Frank and Alanda!!!

There are some pros and a lot of cons. They are not careful at all. They said that they only change their gloves every 20 minutes. I waited for 20 minutes just to get an order of fries. Their kitchen staff was not very competent, but their burgers tasted fresh. Their gluten free buns are good too.

I was super skeptical about this place, as I am with most burger places bc of cross contamination. I have eaten here a few times and the managers always make sure that my food is safe. If you tell them you need it celiac safe they know what that means and will make sure to take extra precautions. I am intolerant to corn as well, so I just get a burger with no bun. The fries are so good too. The only thing is, with a corn allergy, you cannot have any sauces. I still very much enjoy my meal every time, even with no sauce! Of all the burger places I’ve had in Dallas so far, this is the one I feel safest eating.

I am editing my rating down to 3 stars. While you can still get dedicated fries, the quality of the burger has significantly dropped since COVID which is a shame. The buns fall apart and make eating the burger as-is impossible. You won’t get sick, but it also won’t be a great experience.

Dedicated frier, the best GF buns I've ever had, and just an all around great burger. The fries are excellent. We eat here regularly and have never had an issue, and I'm very sensitive.
The managers are well versed in GF and take it very seriously. At one point they had switched the buns to the current ones, and they looked and felt so much like regular bread we asked a manager to double check. She was so kind, and brought out a regular toasted bun and a toasted GF bun to show the difference. This is one place I feel like I don't have to worry I'm going to get glutened!!
PS - all the condiments are GF as well :)
