This needs to be taken off the site. Not gluten allergy safe. They have gluten free crust. For people who want to follow a trendy diet. Touched with contaminated gloves, put on contaminated trays, contaminated sauce spread with a contaminated ladle, cut with contaminated knife on a contaminated surface, etc.

One of the best pizza places for celiacs and non celiacs. I ordered a gluten free crust pizza and as soon as I said this the employee went to wash his hands out new gloves on and a new tray to prepare my pizza on. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Pie Five eliminates the thought of your food not being prepared to your allergen standards. If you haven’t tried this pizza company you need to!!

I ate here several times before covid and never had a problem, and the staff knew what to do. In December 2021 I had to hand-hold the staff through the appropriate precautions. Still had no reaction, but you should make sure to tell the person to change their gloves and not use the slicer when the pizza comes out.
GF and cauliflower crusts were available, ingredients of which were posted on the glass.

I ordered a gluten free crust and I was asked if it was for an allergy. The employer was very careful with making my pizza. He washed his hands, put on new gloves, put my pizza on a tray rather than on the counter top, used a different spoon to spread the sauce, and cut my pizza with a different cutter. 10/10 service!

Do not eat here if you have celiac disease. The crust may start out GF and they change their gloves, but they dip utensils in the same containers that all the gluten pizzaa have touched. I threw the pizza away.

They change gloves but did not use ingredients that was not touch. Saw they put hands into the ingredients then put on pizza that is not gluten free. So the ingredients would be cross contamination. Asked that they use Ingredients that are fresh. Went to the back to prepare however for those with Celiac should not eat here. I was sick after eating.

It took a little coaching to get started but the staff was great and clearly respected my variety of special requests to the best of their understanding. The line is easy to observe so you can intervene as you go if needed. I will def be back.

They were really good but all locations have closed permanently.
They change their gloves for gluten free and inform others there is a gluten free pizza coming.
There is two gluten free crust: gluten free and cauliflower crust. No gluten free desserts or breadsticks
I got the Maui pizza and I did not really like it. The crust itself was good but my toppings were not. Did not care for it too much.

Our daughter is newly diagnosed celiac so we decided to try Pie Five because we had heard they were gluten friendly. We went for an early dinner while no one was there & it was perfect. The manager helped us, walked us through her options, put on clean gloves & then proceeded to make her pizza in the back so it would be separate from the others. She got a gluten free crust with vegan cheese (since she is also dairy free) and she loved it! Will definitely be eating there again when she is wanting pizza.

this location no longer exists
I have stopped going here because the staff has changed quite a bit and I have been glutened on a couple of occasions. If you do not have to lead a gluten free life then it is probably fine the you. The food did taste good though.
No
Eat here a lot. Never had a issue.
Yes
Gluten free options, but for around the same price you can get much better pizza elsewhere.
Yes
Been here twice and the offer gluten free crust. However they cross contamination not realizing it. Luckily I haven’t been sick but if your really sensitive I’d stay away. But it is a nice option
They change gloves and pans and everything, just say its an allergy instead of preference. A+ job.
Yes
They have a gluten free crust, but the staff was not informed of cross contamination. She picked up the ladle for sauce and put it on my pizza then used the same ladle for a gluten pizza. She did not change her gloves. I have eaten at other locations with no issues, but this location seems to be lacking the proper training for gluten free.
No
Very good glutenfree crust. Lots of tasty toppings. Server changed gloves to make my pizza.
Delicious pizza but cross contamination high
No
Update: I just noticed that though they use a separate wheel and cutting board, they set the pizza wheel down on the counter with all the gluten crumbs. You will have to ask them to use clean.
Though they change spoons for the pizza sauce when you order gluten-free, the sauce is already contaminated from the many times they used it to spread sauce on all the other pizza crusts. However, upon my request, they pull out fresh tubs of sauce, cheese, and the other toppings. As another reviewer mentioned, the pizza pans do have holes in them and they do not wipe the counters like I have seen Chipotle do. But I am not sensitive and I already feel like I am holding up the line and making them jump through hoops, so I don’t request them to wipe down the counters first. Pizza tastes awesome and I love getting gluten-free pizza and racking up rewards points at the same time using their app.
My son (Celiac) has the gluten free pizza and there was so much cross-contamination he was sick all night. Too bad, I thought this was a new spot we could count on! Plus the cauliflower pizza was great!
No
100% cross contamination. Don't bother.

Gluten Free crust is available
My daughter and I went here on a rushed occasion, I am gluten free and was disappointed by the cross contamination. If you are celiac I definitely would not recommend this restaurant.

Was excited to get pie five because we've been to other locations, but not happy about the cross contamination. Eventhough they changed gloves it was done after they unwrapped the crust. Also they put the wire pan on the counter instead of holding it. Guy barely spoke English. Very disappointed. This location not celiac safe.
I’m so sad that we found this place on Find Me Gluten Free. First of all, for everyone, the pizza is not high quality. I would never eat there again - there’s way too much good pizza in this world.
More specific to this site, while they offer GF crust, there is so much cross contamination! For example, the tomato sauce is ladled onto the pizza and rubbed around with the ladle then dropped back into the sauce. Same ladle over & over touching various crusts and going back into the common sauce. Hello cross contamination! spare your taste buds & you intestines and eat elsewhere.
No
Cross contact hell. No good for celiacs.
Really flavorful pizza and I didn’t get sick!!
We tried to eat here on a Sunday afternoon and were told that they had run out of GF pizza. There was no sign posted. Staff indifferent, very disappointing.
The staff isn’t properly trained in cross contamination. I ordered the cauliflower crust and specified I was celiac and it needed to be gf. I don’t know what they did but I got violently ill. Spoke management and they apologized but I wouldn’t trust them.

Very nice staff; delicious pizza! Just have to be careful with cross contamination of toppings.

Best place ever! The staff is great and very knowledgeable. We will be going back very soon!
The staff knew what they were doing for gf. They have a special tray that the gf crusts go on through the oven, a dedicated cutting board/pizza cutter, they asked if I wanted a new spoon for the sauce (I said yes), said all of the veggies/toppings are gf because they clean/sanitize the cutting boards between veggies/toppings (although I’m not sure about that, I should have asked if those cutting boards ever have gluten on them...). I got a gf crust, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni for my daughter and she loved it, hasn’t been symptomatic. I totally trust this place!
Yes
Ate there twice and got sick both times. The counter workers were careful to change their gloves, so I'm not sure what the issue was.

I went the other night and they were so quick and willing to accommodate. I asked for a gluten free crust and the worker instantly changed cloves and called out before putting my pizza in the oven. They then placed mine in a box to avoid contamination with my friends pizza.
Have eaten here many times. Staff changes gloves and uses separate utensils. You see them prepare the food which is another plus
Yes
They make everything at the same counter, same gloves with no washing hands... Just a new pan. Not gluten friendly due to cross contamination entire way down the line.
Lots of cross contamination between the ingredients used for regular non gluten pizzas, please dont eat here of you have celiac disease.
No
I'm gluten free because I'm nursing a gluten intolerant infant, so I don't need to worry about cross contamination. However, here was my "gluten free" experience today: no one changed gloves, and they used the same cutting board instead of a designated GF one. Skip this location if cross contamination is an issue for you.
No
They have always been super understanding and friendly when I’ve been. As soon as you say the gf crust they ask if things need to be wiped down and gloves changed. The downside is they only have one oven for everything. So if you are super sensitive to gluten I would stay away. My symptoms have never flared up though
Yes
They make all the pizzas in the same area from the same topping bins. Unsafe for celiacs.
No
The food is very good but not safe for Celiacs or nut allergies! They’re supposed to inform you of almond flour in cauliflower crust and they’re supposed to use separate utensils when preparing and cutting and they didn’t.
Changed gloves right away. They used sauce from a different bin. Also, I asked to not cut my personal pie, but they showed me they have pizza cutters for allergies. Impressed!
