Surprisingly, they had a GF menu (accessible from a QR code on the regular menu). I thought there was a good variety of options and my enchiladas were pretty good. The fryer wasn’t dedicated to chips but our server offered to bring me GF chips - I suspect they were purchased. My food was delivered without a flag but the runner identified it as GF when asking us who it was for.

Great place, I had enchiladas. They were careful with cross contamination. Though the gluten free chips weren’t great, the rest of the meal was fantastic . They know not to use a shared fryer. To find the gluten free menu, you scan a QR code on regular menu

I have had great experiences here, just like in Augusta! The QR code you can scan on the menu to access gf choices is so helpful. Lots to choose from and the food is good. They do have gf chips available if you ask for them and they always bring me my own salsa.

I have eaten here a few times. The first server was very knowledgeable and helpful ordering. The second was younger and got the gluten right but misunderstood the concept of ‘no cheese’.
Overall decent but check your food.

I did research the website menu before I went and felt comfortable until I arrived. I asked the hostess seating my party for a gluten free menu and she started to explain the drink specials at the bar. I should’ve left at that point but I crossed my fingers that our server would know more.
When the server came she arrived with chips and salsa. I informed her of my gluten allergy before she put the chips down. I asked for gluten free chips and she said she would go get some. She came back out and said all their chips were gluten free. This made me suspicious because the menu clearly states to ask for gluten free chips. I asked her to please double check. She left and came back and said the manager confirmed they were gluten free along with the salsa.
We proceeded to order and I helped myself to the chips and salsa. Since the chips were gluten free I ordered the nachos.
Our food was being delivered and my plate was not the nachos. I never let my plate touch the table, quickly informing the person bringing the plates that they had an incorrect plate. It was taken away.
The server came over and asked what was wrong, I explained that the plate was not what I had ordered. She didn’t hear me correctly but did not apologize. I told her if that plate was gluten free I would eat it but she said it was no problem they could probably use it for someone else within 30 minutes. YIKES!
My nachos were brought out about 10 minutes later - they were yummy but I was so sick 30 minutes after eating them, I barely made it home.
I know there is always the potential for cross-contamination/cross-contact when eating at any restaurant that is not designated gluten free and I ate at my own risk. However, I can say that what I experienced (sickness) was from more than just some cross-contamination/cross-contact. I will certainly not be back

I’ve been here many times, and done takeout, i’ve never had a reaction. They have an online GF menu that has options, the QR code is on the menu or you can find it on google (Fajitas are always safe!). Ask your server for gluten free chips and sep salsa, as they use a sep prep space and fryer for them!

You can ask for GF chips that are made in a dedicated fryer. The staff alerted the kitchen of my “allergy” and were all very knowledgeable. Delish enchiladas and rice!!

The long anticipated opening was nothing short of a huge disappointment. Shame on them for not adding a dedicated gluten free fryer. If we ever stop again, it will be Augusta where they care enough to cater to food allergies. Any new establishment not considering this is alienating full families. Will not be at this location again, ever.

My server had little experience with gluten free issues. It wasn’t until I was deep into the menu that I saw the chips were not gluten free. Definitely very different in quality. The original chips were light and white the corn chips were darker and yellower. The rest of my meal was pretty tasteless.

Do not eat here if you have celiac or an intolerance!! I was already skeptical seeing other reviews and this app never steers me wrong, but went here because of meeting other people here. First they don’t know anything. Waitress said there is no GF menu but the bottom of the menu had a QR code for one that’s on the website. I told the waitress multiple times I have an allergy and she wrote it down when taking my order. I ordered tacos with corn tortillas and again reiterated they need to be gluten free for an allergy. A different girl brings my food out when I asked if it’s gluten free she said yes without even knowing and hands me a plate with flour tortillas. Asked the waitress to take it back and she confirmed they were flour and told me they would make me new ones and that the manager was on his way over. My “new” ones come out only a few minutes later. Had to ask to see the manager who had no idea, and even admitted if it came out that fast they definitely did not make new ones they just transferred everything off the flour ones onto corn tortillas. The manager was nice and took them back and made sure new ones were made but this is one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in my 12 years of being gluten free. Thank god flour tortillas are so noticeably different otherwise I would have been so sick I would have likely had to go to the ER and would have had to miss multiple days of work. This place clearly has zero training or care for allergies and should NOT advertise gluten free. Will never eat here again and I do not recommend anyone eat here if you have celiac or any allergy it is not safe here.

This place was beyond amazing! Margaritas recently came out with a gluten free menu. I have celiacs and our server, maverick made sure that everything was super safe. He went above and beyond to make sure the kitchen was constantly changing gloves when handling my food. They also have a separate place to make their chips if you are gluten free. If you want Mexican that’s amazing and careful come here!! I cannot say enough good things. Everyone was knowledgeable, even the hostess informed our sever before we sat down.

I have been eating here for years and it has always been a great experience. Servers tend to be knowledgeable and the kitchen is able to make many things gluten free (if they aren’t already). They also have separate tortilla chips that are not made in the shared fryer.

We had 3/5 of our party that was celiac. We told server and they made sure to tell us that for the most part menu items could be made gf. They even have a button when ordering that they can punch celiac. The kitchen staff bright out of food separately. We shared a fajita, enchilada and grilled shrimp salad. We had ordered something else and were told it wasn't safe. None of us got sick. I can that a win!

The chips they serve are not gluten free. You have to ask for gluten-free chips. Unsure if there is a separate fryer so it’s always a risk eating those. I get the enchiladas and they’re nothing special. I just like to go for the drinks and company.

I was told over the phone that fajitas, grilled chicken/steak entrees, and salads were relatively safe gluten free choices. Anything fried and with a flour tortilla isn't safe.
I explicitly asked if the Tacos Americanos were safe and was told they were, but they ended up giving me a reaction.

Been glutened a couple times and the food is never amazing. I will eat here but it’s never a first option for me, take caution
Double check your food here. I’m a fan of Margaritas across New England, but this location was very disappointing. I asked for corn tortillas for my tacos and the ones that arrived were noticeably flour ones. I had my friend eat a bit and they confirmed. I told the server and she claimed there was no mistake and it was a corn tortilla. Eventually she took it back and came out with new tacos, which were corn tortillas.
3 people in my family have celiacs. The waitstaff was very knowledgeable. Our food was delicious and no one had any issues later.
Yes
2nd time eating there and again fantastic food. Hubby and daughter both highly allergic and they take great care to not cross contaminate. Waitress both times attentive and lovely. Highly recommend it!
Yes
This restaurant says items are gluten free and that they will provide clean, freshly made tortilla chips and clean salsa. For a while they did. Recently I started getting positive tests on my Nima sensor. Then the chicken, stated to be GF, “might have been marinated in beer.” The last time I ate there in early May, I only had chips and salsa but something somewhere that I didn’t capture in my Sensor test must have had gluten. I was violently ill, vomiting for 12+ hours, serious GI pain for 3+ days. No more tries here. They don’t care in the kitchen.
No
I'll give an extra star because I've spent some time drinking margaritas here over the years and enjoyed the food prior to being diagnosed. I met a friend here recently who ordered the wings app. Since the menu has no indication of what might be GF, I asked the bartender if he knew if the wings were fried (they had grill marks, but were fried first) and if they shared a fryer with breaded items. He said, well they share the fryer with the chips, so they would be contaminated. Hmmm, corn chips are the source of contamination? I just passed on having a bite. Nobody mentioned that GF chips were an option. I'll just drink here in the future and go to Amuleto for good Mexican food.
No
They don’t have a separate Gluten Free Menu , but our server was very knowledgeable about what I could safely eat. She had special GF tortilla chips made with my own salsa ! She said she told the kitchen so they would take all precautions ( change gloves, etc). I had veggie enchiladas and they were so good !! 24hrs later and no symptoms! A great meal. A great server. Highly recommend
Staff was incredibly knowledgeable. They immediately told us the standard chips might be contaminated and brought fresh baked ones that are gf. My daughter has had no issues here.
Yes
Awful experience trying to eat GF here. No GF menu, was told to ask server about GF menu options. Waited over 20 minutes for GF chips. Ordered queso which had to be replaced because we didn't have GF chips. Had to give server top 2 choices to check if they were GF. Do not waste time going here.
No
Had a tasty meal with my vegetarian wife, picky toddler, and in-laws here tonight. After asking and having the server double check I ordered the original fish tacos, baked instead of fried, since the breading is just corn. Initially the kitchen accidentally sent out the wrong ones, but Cole, the kitchen manager, caught the error and booked it out and caught me before I'd taken a bite, and then came back with the right plate. (Note, I do mean I'm assuming he booked it, as he caught me in between squeezing on some like juice and picking up a taco for a bite. Good timing!) Would definitely feel ok going here again, but would double check a bit more carefully, in case the kitchen manager isn't there to catch mistakes. Yay for good food and no night of cramps and toilet time!
Wait staff guaranteed the food would be made separately and gluten free, but this was awfully incorrect. Food was delicious but definitely not gluten free, so I would highly recommend staying away from the food if you have Celiacs.
No
Food is great and you can always ask for corn tortillas. Staff is great!
Eaten here several times. Good food. Never been sick.
wait staff seems very knowledgeable about GF options, food was great!
Yes
Delicious Mexican food option for Celiacs. The waiter appeared to know what he was talking about, and showed me on the menu some of the items that contained gluten, and some that were safe to eat. I’m still a little suspicious about the the chips and taco shells, but the waiter guaranteed they were gluten-free.
Update: we checked with the corporate office, and my suspicions were correct: none of the chips are gluten-free, and the wait staff knows nothing about the ingredients in their menu items. DO NOT eat here if you have Celiacs, until they label their gluten-free menu items, and train their staff.
No
The restaurant is a good find, but the menu has no markings to show that it may have gluten free options, and though we did have gluten free chips but the only way to know there was chips was because of this app and the chips were not really that good. The food when we did get it was very good which is why it still gets four stars.
Fantastic options and knowledge staff. Ask for GF chips and if they don't have any ask for them to bake some. They are great about it! The Dover NH location is fantastic about going above and beyond and the staff loves to show off their knowledge which is awesome!

The managers/staff are great and very accommodating!!
Fast, friendly service with cute decor and gluten free options. Servers knowledgeable about Celiac & cross-contamination. Easy to access off I-95.
Really bad Mexican food and they don't cater to gluten free at all..

Delicious food! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Chips are gluten free! I feel "normal" when I eat here and have never gotten sick. I'm very sensitive...GO!!!

They do offer a few gluten free options but overall not as much as other Mexican restaurants. The food was ok.
