I had to do some looking on their website to find which salads were gluten free, but when I told them about my gluten sensitivity they were helpful and when I asked to remove an item, the offered to substitute others. A good choice for salads.
A great place for a quick meal. You order online or at the kiosk and pick up in store. They offer a lot of gluten-free options. Salads and warm bowls. Almost all of their ingredients are gluten-free. Just stay away from croutons and pita chips. All of their dressings and sauces are GF.
We had a Caesar salad with romaine lettuce, grilled chicken and Parmesan cheese. I asked them to use fresh lettuce from the kitchen and not toss the salad to be safe. They all washed hands and changed gloves before making our salads. Allergens are clearly marked on the corporate website. Tasty option to grab on our way to catching our train. The manager was very helpful.
Great food. Large portions. No issues with gluten.
Celiac friendly and so delicious! I always remind the staff to change gloves. Almost the whole restaurant is gluten free except for the croutons, wontons, pita chips, panko fried chicken, falafel, and most desserts. Separate serving utensils for each ingredient except lettuce. All dressings GF. I’ve always ordered the kale caesar with grilled chicken and subbed in tomatoes for croutons. Very reasonably priced!

Have been here several times, is hit or miss. The employees are mostly knowledgeable and there’s a binder that says what ingredients have gluten. Since it’s made in front of you it’s hard to tell what ingredients could have come into contact with each other. Salads are really good and they will change their gloves and pull lettuce from the back but I most recently got very sick. Would maybe try again early when they’ve just opened and it’s clean but wouldn’t recommend when it’s busy
I’m Celiac & very sensitive to CC. Chop’t is hit or miss for me…I never order delivery so I can oversee them making my order (one time there was a rogue crouton in my salad). Some of the gluten toppings are next to GF (ie breaded chicken next to chicken) and staff can get messy with the crumbs. They also drizzle sauces directly onto meals, so the nozzle touches breaded chicken etc. Food is tasty, I just wish it wasn’t so dangerous for me!
The staff happily changes gloves for me every time. There are many gf options to chose from for your bowl.
Good spot for a build your own salad. Tons of choices; really good.
It was actually comical because as soon as I walked in, I saw an employee trying to pour croutons into one of the topping buckets and got croutons and crouton dust literally all over the place and into other topping buckets. Did a U turn straight out of there
Our family loves Chopt. This is a counter service establishment that offers bowls, salad, and wraps. They don’t have a GF menu; however, most items are GF and the wraps which are not GF are made at a separate counter. Prices are around $12 to $15 and you get a variety of fresh ingredients and dishes made the way that you want them. I recommend that you visit Chopt to eat fresh food so tasty that you will forget that you are eating GF!
Great place, but cross contamination is a real problem. A GF grain bowl gave me a gluten reaction.
They have lots of options since you can make your own salad or bowl! They can change their gloves! They have an allergen menu online per ingredient and most of their dressings are! It’s like a Chipotle but for salads! I do the Cobb salad but no chicken or bacon and do extra avocado and egg instead and add black beans! Just tell them no when they ask if you want bread on the side
I asked if the falafel topping was gluten free, the person making my salad didn’t seem to understand the question, but another employee confidently told me that it was. I ordered the salad and took it home, but when I double checked with their allergen chart on the website, it was not. Wasted $11 on a salad. they are clueless. Clearly no training.
I ordered online and custom made my salad. Nothing on menu menu as listed as gluten free but I used my best judgement and didn’t get anything fried or crispy and I did well. My salad was HUGE and SOOO DELICIOUS. I was very impressed by this place. Quick pick up as well
Used all new utensils and cleaned a new prep station when making my salad. Very knowledgeable about allergy concerns. Great customer service.
Great variety of salads and bowls! Staff seemed very knowledgeable
Salads and warm bowls made to order. Use different bowls, cutting board and utensils with each order.
Met a friend there for dinner and got sick even though I ordered a feature that was supported to be gluten free
Chance for cross-contamination but staff does a good job of you tell them it’s for an allergy.
The staff does not change gloves, does not changed chopping mats, does not clean their chopping blades (wipes with filthy rag if asked to clean) and often reuses mixing bowls. Been “glutened” several times. Not going back.
Perfect! Soooooo much variety. Fast, great prices
when i told them i needed gluten free, they changed gloves, got a freshly washed knife, got a newly washed cutting board. they were knowledgeable about which ingredients contain gluten. it was delicious, and i did not get sick from eating there.
This is a buffet salad place, all toppings are in one case and are not separated very well. Croutons are at the far end of the case and are easily dropped on meats/cheeses/basically everything else in the case when the workers build the salads. They clearly mark on a plaque that they cannot guarantee cross contamination of any allergens. However, after I asked about gluten-free food they brought out a manager, explained the precautions they can take and had the person making my food wash their hands, change their gloves and clean a new station to chop my food.A for effort, but they could easily eliminate some issues my spreading out foods in the case and/or adding additional dividers in the case.
They made my salad in the back off the line to avoid cross contamination of salad ingredients. The worker washed his hands and changed gloves. He used a new dressing container and all dressings are GF. He used a newly sanitized chopping board, chopper, scraper, bowl etc. Wonderful experience!
Great place for a quick and safe GF meal! Salads and grain bowls are made fresh in front of you and an allergen guide is available on their website. All sauces and dressings are GF, as well as many other options. I let the staff know I have a gluten allergy and they were quick to wash hands, swap gloves, clean down the prep area and use fresh utensils/cutting board before making my food. It was obvious that the staff were trained to deal with cross-contamination risks. I got the Chicken Tinga Quinoa bowl, which was delicious. Will definitely be back!
Read their allergen menu on their website. Many gluten free options!
This place was packed and rightfully so. My husband and I dropped by for lunch and the line was almost out the door. All salads and bowls here are prepared individually in their own bowl and on their own cutting board so I didn't have to worry about cross-contamination. Their website has their full menu listed with allergen info for each item so I knew going in exactly what I wanted to order. I got the smoky santa cruz bowl which was really tasty. It was GF, dairy free, and nut free...all of which are issues for me. I would definitely go again and its worth the wait in line!
Pros- Good food, and they TRIED to be careful. The girl making my salad changed gloves and cleaned the work station.Cons- LOTS of cross contamination possibilities! It was very busy and crowded behind the counter, and employees work quickly. The containers are very close together and that + speed = lots of crumbs going in different containers. I saw a woman use the chicken scoop to compress the salad as she added the chicken..... and then there was feta all over the scoop. They don't have a lot of gluten items in the line-up to worry about, but if you are sensitive to dairy, corn, egg, or soy I would be very careful/not go here!
Great salad place if you want GF options that are food. All dressings are GF. Very helpful staff to answer questions. Worth the money for a really good salad!!
I have eaten here a handful of times while attending conferences in the area. Clean bowls and cutting surfaces are used. Most salad items are GF including all dressings. I have never experienced any ill effects
Normally great, if you go during the lunch rush you might experience some issues with cross contamination but during off hours over never had an issue if I ask employees to change gloves.
To address cross contamination... They are not a certified facility so nothing is guaranteed BUT every salad ive had here is made on a fresh chopping mat and in a fresh mixing bowl. Ive had no bad experiences and have eaten here a hundred times.
Great salads. All dressings are gf! Most of the proteins are gf.
I went in based on a previous recommendation on here but definitely an issue for cross -contamination. They chop ingredients on a common cutting board. I gave it a 3-star rating because of the concept, fresh ingredients, and taste but I wouldn't recommend to someone with celiac. I took a risk eating there even though I'm sensitive to cross-contamination. Was in a big hurry and starved.
