GF dedicated menu. Good food.
Our time here was very poor. Took 15 minutes for the waitress to first see us and they did not have GF buns, which they still tried to charge onto our bill. Overall, it is disappointing when you have hopes of eating certain foods and they mess it up/don’t have it available. I wouldn’t go back.
Before sitting, I asked the hostess if they had gluten free, she said yes. Then she handed me a “gluten sensitive” menu. The waitress wasn’t sure if they had separate fryer, etc. she said “their could be cross contamination but it’s gluten free, etc.” I ordered from the GS menu, the Baja fish- which was grilled. But it came w chips on the side and waitress still didn’t know if there was a separate fryer. Manager came over and said there can always be cross contamination but they’ll change gloves if someone’s celiac. Just didn’t seem like their people were trained and I left unsure if I should have eaten or not. (I did) fingers crossed.
This was one of the worst gf places I’ve been to the Gf menu had very little on it and they were out of gf buns. I ordered the fish tacos and it took them two hours to finally come out. When it was on the table they had put non gluten free chips on my food so I had to wait even longer. When I finally got to eat my food it was ice cold except for the fish which was scolding hot absolute worst food I’ve had in a while and the side of coleslaw was wet and tasted stale. And the cherry on top was they lied about cross contamination and just took the chips off of the original plate to make it seem like they made a completely new meal. If I could give this place negative stars I would
Variety of choices, great food and service
This is a nice upbeat cool place to meet up with friends, have a soda while they have a beer, and they do have a gluten sensitive menu of items that do not contain gluten. There are a lot of gluten containing items coming from the kitchen so it’s a risk. We did OK with a bunless burger eaten like a steak. But we stayed away from things we knew to avoid like nachos (chips) and the usual culprits.
They had a gluten free bread which was nice. The meal I ordered lacked flavor.
Great options that are listed online for gluten sensitive and I ordered a burger with a gf bun and side salad with oil and vinegar and felt fine after eating. Great food and slightly slow service. Show up with knowledge waitress was not too helpful but did bring food out separate.
They are actually pretty good, they have a gluten free menu and even gf buns for the burgers.
Staff did not know gluten free items, but offered a gluten free menu. Items were definitely cross-contaminated in the kitchen. Ordered a salad with grilled chicken and specified for it to be gluten free, and received the salad with a ton of croutons on top.
Thankfully we are not extremely allergic/intolerant or we would have had serious issues.
Unfortunately, I am in hour 6 of misery after consuming gluten from my dinner (1 bite). I ordered from the gluten free menu, made clear that the order needed to be gluten free, saw on the kitchen ticket it was marked, in red, gluten free and was given a flour tortilla. Please do not have a gluten free menu if you are not going to train your entire staff as to what that means. Cross contamination is one thing but this was not cross contamination. Some of us do not have a choice about consuming gluten-we cannot.
I have a very serious medical condition where I have to be very careful what I eat. We sat with Cole and he made me feel very comfortable with what I ordered (rarely happens when I eat out)! I had a delicious, gluten and dairy free meal that was highly enjoyable. Thank you Cole!
Quite a few gluten free options, delicious!
Also dairy free
The GF menu was outdated. The wings are made in a fryer shared with everything but the seafood. My burger came out on a glutinous bun and fortunately I realized that before I ate it. While I liked the staff, I would not recommend this place to someone that has celiacs or a gluten allergy.
I was informed by the manager that there is a dedicated fryer for gluten free food. My daughter was very pleased with the ample flavor options for her wings. She enjoyed her meal and did not get sick. I tried to order tacos with corn tortillas, but they were out of GF tortillas. Service is ok and food was the same but staff did seem knowledgeable about the risk of cross-contamination and necessary safety precautions for a celiac diner.
Gluten free menu is outdated and does not reflect their new menu, so I was VERY VERY limited on what I could eat.
Waitress was great but the Kitchen took a really long time in a non peak time. We waited over 30 minutes for two plates. Steakburger was overdone and very dry.
Would not really recommend.
We went on a Sunday after church. It took about 15 mins to get drinks order and another 35 mins to get our food. It wasn’t busy at all, so that seemed strange to us. Not sure if it’s always like that or not, but the kids were def hangry. There was a gf menu and I ordered the fish tacos. They were ok, quite dry and more cabbage and sauce than fish unfortunately. Not sure how the other gf items are. Not sure if we will go back. Our waitress was very sweet though!
On multiple occasions they didn’t have any gluten free buns. On those times I tried different plates of food from chicken to shrimp. For the price we payed and the fact my food had to be sent back because what they said was gf was in fact not gf at all. And my kids food was ice cold when it came out. Please save your self the headache and money and go somewhere else .
Long wait for our waiter who was surprised when we knew what we wanted. Out dated gf menu with a handful of things on them. I should have gone with my instinct and gotten the shrimp but I got the fish tacos. YUCK!!! That was the worst tasing fish ever! I could only stomach my way through one. Very disappointed.
not Celiac friendly, menu only says Gluten Sensitive. After clearly stating twice about the allergy our waiter did not write it down and we ended up with a sandwich with a regular gluten bun on it when asked about it he went back and found out they were all out of gluten-free which should have been known when we said we had the allergy. I would not go here if you are celiac
Love the GF wings! I don’t think the fries ass safe for celiacs though.
They have a "gluten sensitive " menu which drives me crazy. As a celiac, I hate that term. Anyway, the menu says that cross contamination is possible and they can't guarantee anything. I spoke with the manager, and he was super helpful. He explained that they try their very best to avoid cross contamination. The manager and my server were great about GF. I was Leary at first, but I was impressed after dinner. I had the Baja fish tacos.
Update a year later: our waitress went over the gluten sensitive menu with me and then my food still came out on flour tortillas. They fixed it, but the food was mediocre this time.
Doubting this is a scratch kitchen. Not sure what you're doing to Cole slaw and tortilla chips that make them not gf. GF menu doesn't contain any gf substitutes- only instructions to order a burger with no bun or onion straws. Then you want to charge me for a side of vegetables instead. I won't bother coming back.
