Extremely friendly and helpful staff. There is NOT a gluten free menu but most items already are as are all the peri-peri sauces. I had a butterflied chicken breast, spicy rice and macho peas successfully/without issues.

This is a peri peri chicken place. Fast casual/sit down or take away. Talk to a manager for gf options. Basically all the chicken and most sides are gf. I got the thighs with two sides.

Although not dedicated-GF, we felt very safe eating lunch here last month. If you have any dietary restriction, you place your order with the manager and note which dishes need to be GF for Celiac. My son-- who is VERY sensitive to cross-contamination-- enjoyed his chicken and fries. All Nando's sauces are GF. It was all so delicious and easy. The food also comes out labeled GF, always a plus.

Wouldn’t recommend here if you have celiac disease.

It's so easy to eat in any Nando's, and this one is no exception. Staff well clued up on CC, and order taken by a manager if needing gluten free. Almost everything on the menu is GF.

I went to the location in Brunswick Square (not in this app), and was surprised with how well-versed they were in cross contamination. They have a separate fryer and can make most of the sides and any of the types of chicken (including wings) gf!

They do not have any gluten free buns to go with burgers or any of their breads.
The manager came out and took my order to make sure it was handled properly. They cook your food on a separate grill and they go over the allergen list with you when placing the order. Chicken chips and broccoli were delicious

I walked in and asked for gluten-free. The manager took care of me and read off a list of gluten-free items they have. While the burgers and breaded items aren’t gluten-free, I was able to order fries and chicken thighs. My order came with a little flag that said “allergy” on it. While I don’t know the extent of cross contamination in their establishment, I’m normally pretty sensitive to gluten and did not feel sick from their food. Very tasty chicken! I would recommend to others.

Nandos is one of the best places to eat GF in my opinion. They are very diligent about always having a manager take your order, they clean the whole grill before use, and your food comes out flagged with the allergen. There’s also a wide variety of options (well, as much variety as there can be at a chicken restaurant), and the food is really good - I am celiac and have never been glutened here.

Reliable chicken chain that has a thorough allergen menu. The manager takes your order to ensure that it goes through as an “allergy order” where staff will change gloves/equipment and dishes come with a gluten free flag.
Super affordable too. I usually get chicken thighs, peri chips and salad.

Amazing service. Expressed my requirements to staff and they told me a manager had to take my order. He asked me what i was thinking of having and gave me recommendations. They said no gluten on the order itself and the staff cleaned the grill used clean utensils and labelled my meal with an allergy tab.

Nandos does GF very well at all branches. Staff check all allergens when ordered and food is prepared separately. Separate frier for chips. Best way to work out what to order is to use website on mobile, then you can filter by allergen. Their allergen menu is pretty confusing!
I have always had good experiences with Nando's, wherever I go. I have eaten in Nando's in Chelmsford, Lincoln, Nottingham and London. It's a reliable restaurant to have a good and safe meal. Meals come with a gluten free flag if you specify that it is an "allergy order" when ordering. They then ask what allergy and if you're coeliac. I have not ever felt ill after going and I usually have quite severe reactions to gluten, so I trust Nando's a lot now.
Yes
Manager will always assist and confirm order is suitable prior to payment. They will oversee the kitchen and ensure surfaces are cleaned and deemed safe. They will deliver the food to the table and it will be clearly flagged it is an “allergy order”
Quick, fresh, tasty food. Most available as gluten free.

They have sorbet for GF/DAIRY FREE desserts. All chips made are gluten free as they told me the chips are the only things that goes into their fryers
Yes
They take it very seriously and almost everything is gluten free! (Except obvious breads)
Yes
Staff was very knowledgeable and happy to explain how their kitchen does the best they can to minimize potential contamination. They have a separate fryer, separate section of grill and separate tongs... very attentive to detail (in a verifiable way!!!!) and happy to explain/answer questions. I’m quite Leary of fast food type restaurants but this Nandos has their act together and I was very happy and comfortable eating here.
Yes
Chicken and chips are gluten and dairy free. Staff write “allergy order” on your order and also put a sticker on your plate so you know that they have been careful. There is a lactose free chocolate ice cream which tastes very nice too.
The a manger was so helpful!! Good food too

Love Nando’s!! So handy as a coeliac. They take it very seriously there and have a big black book with dedicated foods in it. I always have a whole chicken with mango and lime, peri salted chips and spicy rice. The frozen yoghurt is also gluten free but the other desserts are not.
Yes
Although they dont currently have a gluten free menu, options are available online and the staff are knowledgeable. The majority of their chicken is gluten free as are the sauces they use and most of the sides. The staff are happy to help, on occasion they have cleaned the grill prior to cooking an allergy meal, this may mean it takes longer but the food tastes amazing. Good as a quick gf fast food and you can takeaway if you fancy.
Although they do not have a gf menu, most of the food is gluten free. Including all the chicken and sauces. When you mention you are gluten intolerant they go out of their way to look after you. Sometimes full on cleaning the grill before they do your food. This may mean a little wait but the food is just gorgeous when you get it. I've never had any issues here and have been eating here for 4 years.
Yes
Nandos have a clear process for ordering food when you have allergies (or coeliacs), which was very reassuring. There was lots on the menu which I could have, not just meat options either. They labelled my food as 'Allergy' and served it separately. The food was really tasty too!
No gluten free menu, however you have to look through the allergy book. Staff are very aware of GF and with GF your food normally gets prepared before everyone else’s as they prepare it in another area.
Yes
Need to check the allergy book but plenty of gluten free options
