Flew in and only 15 min from airport. Healthy and delicious! Mother earth with rice was GF and fabulous. Lots of GF options. Seating inside and outside. Will stop again when returning to the airport!

I love this place! The staff is super knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have. They do great with allergies and most items on the menu are gluten free. I’ve ordered several things from here including Mac & cheese and enchiladas, and everything is always fresh and delicious! They also have some of the BEST chocolate chip cookies that I’ve ever eaten before (even before I was diagnosed with celiac). You definitely don’t want to miss this place.

I love Flower Child! I used to live right next to one on Lovers and it was really great. Most of their menu is gluten free too. This location is kind of iffy. The food was very subpar at this location and the staff were really negative. It was cold and overcooked. My food was all gluten free and I had no reaction, so I’m thankful for that. I got the chicken, broccoli (with no bread crumbs), and the gluten free Mac and cheese. I get this same order every time I go to Flower Child, so I know it was just a location thing. I strongly recommend this place if you’re gluten free because it’s safe and delicious, but I will definitely be using the extra gas to go to another location.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I know there may be positive reviews, but trust me, it’s not worth the risk. There’s other places in Wildwood that you can get food from. I ordered the “gluten free” Mac n cheese from Flower Child and within 2 hours was nonstop vomiting so severely that I was hospitalized for a night. This was one of the worst reactions of my whole life, and I have no idea how it happened since their Mac n cheese is allegedly supposed to be gluten free, with no non-gf version available. If you have Celiac, DO NOT EAT AT FLOWER CHILD, don’t ruin your day/week by getting glutened here!

I ate lunch here this past weekend and had a wonderful experience! I’m highly symptomatic and was just fine after eating here. There is potential for cross contamination, but all the staff seemed very well informed and knew exactly what to do. I feel that this is one of the safest restaurants for me in Houston.

Went there today and ordered steak, gluten-free mac & cheese, and fruit. Many GF options but not a GF kitchen. The first time I went, they said they were able to make the Tofu and GF dishes celiac friendly. I left feeling ok, some mild cramping following.

We decided to try it again and I had a complete autoimmune reaction from the Tofu with Chopped Salad and wine although they said it was all GF and could be made celiac safe.

This is a go-to restaurant for me. The majority of items on the menu are GF, and even more can be modified. It’s reliably tasty and quick too.
