All meats except 1 are gf. Most of the salad bar is gf. Less options on the hot bar, basically just white rice. On the table, bread(!) and fried bananas are gf. Very knowledgeable staff, walked through everything. Highly recommend

Such a great and wonderful experience! Most all of the menu is gluten free and what little isn't, you would never miss with all the options they have.

The salad bar is amazing with salad, charcuterie, shrimp, salmon, potato salad, asparagus and much more!

All the meats are gf, and they were all so delicious!

Definitely a GO-TO choice!

One of my more disappointing experiences at a Texas de Brazil. The meat (which I asked for as rare to medium rare) kept coming out medium well. Then, I finally got something the correct doneness, only to find out it wasn't gluten free. My waiter was informed of my allergy, but he didn't tell the manager, so I wasn't warned one of their steaks is not GF. Where I normally go, in another state, has said all the hot meats are GF.

I was unimpressed with how the lack of information was handled also.

I can not say how impressed I am. I told the waitress I am gluten free she got the manager who personally walked me around the salad bar area. He sent plantains to me instead of mashed potatoes. Their mashed potato’s are not gluten free. He checked on me several times through out the meal. All the meet was cooked to perfection and all is gluten free.

Went to Texas De Brazil for Valentine’s Day. Almost all the meats are GF except the spicy something or other. The incredible Brazilian cheese bread IS gluten free. The white rice is gluten free. The other sides were not. The salad bar had quite a few options and they said all dressings were okay except Caesar not made in house so I was suggested to avoid. The mashed potatoes, French fries, etc NOT GF and not made in house so I was suggested to avoid. There is someone there named Anna that knows everything and will walk you around the salad bar. Anna was super knowledgeable, our server wasn’t as much, but was willing to check, which is what really matters. No gf desserts. They had gluten free marked on my reservation. No issues. Nice date night and I’m super full.

I order from this place all the time, it is delicious! You can’t eat everything but what you can eat is enough options. There is a allergy menu online to be able to identify what sides are gluten free. You can eat all the meats no problem and the cheese bread.

Terrific food and ambience! Manager and all the serving staff very well informed about what was gluten free.Most of the cold salad bar is although for something like that I always recommend that people be among the first to go through the line to make sure it's not cross-contaminated by other guests accidentally.The various cuts of meat were all superb and almost all of them were gluten free. The sides they bring to the table are spectacular and while it is a shame the mashed potatoes aren't gluten free, the cheesy bread more than makes up for it. This is a place where you don't want to fill up on the sides anyway! Would definitely recommend if looking for something more upscale.

They said that you could eat here gluten free, but all it is is a large salad bar, that is serve yourself. There are multiple items with gluten and bread (bread crumbs everywhere) manager wouldn’t bring out any safer food. Very dismissive. If you get sick from cross contamination do not eat here!!

I alway feel safe here. When in arrive, they confirm which things are GF (most of the meats and a lot of the salad bar). The food is incredible and the GF cheese bread is my favorite! I’ve never gotten sick at all. My only complaint is that the salad bar items could be more clearly marked gluten-free. There are GF signs on some items but other items weren’t marked.

May 2023 -- I have been a patron of Texas de Brazil for ten years now. I am a highly sensitive Celiac and have never gotten sick. Each time, someone from the kitchen walks me through the salad bar. The meats are amazing. I am so grateful for this steakhouse!

June 2017 -- I have been eating here for four years no and have not once gotten sick. Just wanted to update since my last review was in 2013. The food is really good and if you are a meat eater it is well worth the price. Enjoy! --

2013 -- This place was amazing. It was $48 per person, but the CHEF came out to take me around the salad bar to tell me what I could eat, and then he came back to check on me two more times throughout the meal. Of the 30 or so items on the salad bar there were only about 5 I could not eat. Also, they make gluten free cheese bread - it is DELICIOUS! I HIGHLY recommend!!

I wanted to like this restaurant, but I didn't. There is another Brazilian steakhouse a few minutes away and they have much better options for a similar price. I am basically doing a comparison between them. To start with, the manager was nice and walked me through the buffet, but there were several options I couldn't have and they were right next to items that I could have. They had things like bread and croutons on a top level, so they all dribbled down onto the other food. Typical of a Brazilian steakhouse, they had mashed potatoes, fried bananas, and pao de quejo (Brazilian cheese bread) unlimited at the table. HOWEVER, the mashed potatoes were NOT gluten free and that confused me as mashed potatoes are very easy to make GF. The fried bananas also were not GF. We were only brought 3 cheesy bread pieces to begin with and had to flag our server down after 30 minutes to get more. Our server seemed to be managing the bar area as well, so our service was just ok. The beef was fatty and the chicken and pork were dry. The ribs were decent along with the filet, but it was definitely low quality meat. I just wasn't impressed and doubt I will be back.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! I told the waitress I had celiac disease and she promptly brought a manager over. He walked me through the buffet area and clearly explained what I could and could not eat, including the meats. He also explained their preparation practices and answered all of our questions. I was thrilled to eat cheese bread at the table - how often do we get to partake in a bread basket?! Everything was delicious and I had so many great options to eat. I had requested a table on the bottom floor and close to the salad bar, as my father has mobility issues. They accommodated us with that, as well as doing their best to help me with my gluten intolerance (Celiac).

The waiter gave me a tour of the salad bar, making sure to point out how the options are labeled. Each item has a stone placed near it, with the item name in it. In addition to the name, there will be either a green stamp that says “ Gluten yes” or a yellow stamp that says “Gluten free”. A little weird in the wording and color coding, but easy to tell if it is considered gluten free or not. The breads and soups and sides are labeled the same way. It was nice that they had the foods labeled that way, as I had no trouble finding plenty to eat. Unfortunately, the sides they automatically bring to the table were not gluten free and I had to ask to find that out.

The waiter did alert the skewer staff to keep from offering me the only skewer option that was off limits to me. I could partake in all but one, which was great. Plus, the bread they placed in the center of the table was gluten free.

At the end the meal, they brought the dessert options, of which two were gluten free. I had the papaya and ice cream blend and it was very tasty.

All in all, a great experience. :)”

We’ve also been to a Texas De Brazil in Virginia, and it was an equally amazing experience! The manager took me on a little tour around the buffet to explain what was safe and what to avoid. All meats are safe except for the spicy picanha. The crème brûlée for dessert was bomb. Pricey, but so worth it if you arrive hungry.

I informed the server of my “gluten and wheat allergy”, and the manager worked to ensure I’d be okay. They normally bring meat around and customers take it as they please, but the manager actually brought me out plates of various meats that had been prepared separately without any risk of cross-contamination.

All meats except for two are regularly gluten free, but I was told not to trust any side dishes. Apparently a few are gluten free, but not necessarily free of cross-contamination.

If you’re comfortable with a carnivore dinner, this was awesome.

Found this place after a 5 hour flight.

It was a buffet w many gf options. But not your typical American buffet, it’s American Brazilan. One of the positives was their bread is the Brazilian cheese bread (similar to Chebe but slightly different I think it’s fried)

All of the meats they walk around with and slice on the fly are Gluten Free except for the Spicy Beef (which they weren’t even serving so it was very safe). The filet mignon was awesome

Manager walked me around to all of the gf items and even got me some from the back so I didn’t have cross contact

It’s about $45 pp but was different and very very good.

What a fantastic find in Fort Worth. We were visiting our son and needed a safe, delicious, place for dinner.

The place was very busy which would usually make me very nervous. But the salad bar items were all clearly labeled with gluten/gluten free. Our waitress knew exactly which meats I could have and which to avoid. And, she even remembered at dessert time, to point out the options that were available to me.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be going back the next time we are in The Fort.

OMG a restaurant the likes of which I've never seen. Not just your standard salad bar buffet, but tons of creative and unique options from the simple to the elaborate.

But then you have your main dish - or dishes. Steak, and steak and steak plus lamb, lamb chop, chicken wrapped in bacon, hot links and so much more. Plus side dish of garlic mashed potato.

For those of us eating gluten free, you'll love the place. Tons of options (see website for allergen listings) plus they bring Brazilian Cheese Bread to your table and...and...and....IT'S GLUTEN FREE.

This is an all you care to enjoy establishment for some items such as the full salad bar with meat and assorted cheeses. Hot side dishes of rice, beans, soup and scalloped potatoes were also available. Our waitress had no clue what gluten free even was, but on line reviews say all sides were GF and they may have been. I did observe gluten bread so asked the staff to bring me a plate of potatoes and rice from the kitchen which they did. The manager came and he was slightly more helpful. He said any meats with Parmesan has gluten crumbs. They brought out fried banana, tapioca flour rolls and mashed potatoes as we were about finished. I am very sensitive and did get sick. My son is slightly less sensitive and he did not.

When I got there, I asked the host if they had a gluten free menu or something to state what has gluten in it. The host had the chef come out and show me what I could and couldn’t have on their salad bar. There were a lot of options on what I could have. All of the meats were gluten free expect for one. The cheese bread that they bring to the table is gluten free and so delicious. I left so full. Really great experience!

When I asked about gluten free our server went back and came back with a list... I think 2 things on the salad bar, no mushrooms lobster bisque and I think the potatoes are gratin, and as far as the meats go...skip the breaded ones, the garlic ones, and the 'spicy' anything... overall I'd say 90% of the place was gluten free, and it's now our go to place since I have so many options I don't feel limited to a salad and or a bunless burger! We asked the a manager to walk us through the salad bar and sides that were gluten free. She started giving us a list which included cheese, deli meats, potato salad and asparagus for the salad bar. Then they brought hot sides to the table and we had to ask her to come back and tell us about those. She told us the rice, French fries and cheese bread was gluten free. I questioned the fries and asked what else was fries in the same oil. She said nothing. My boys (both with celiac disease) spared no time and dug in. About 5 minutes later she came back and told us the fries were not gluten free. We left with a $200 bill and 2 sick kids.
