Unfortunately they no longer have a dedicated fryer so the fries are off the list. Still a few other options but the cheese fries were the draw for my daughter. I spoke to the manager and she said they may change again soon so it’s worth a call if that’s important to you. Salads, flatbread with cauliflower crust, and corn chips are the backup plan.
Waiter said fries were GF, then came out later to apologize and say they shared a fryer and would take them off my order. My food came out a minute later with fries on the plate. Seemed to be a miscommunication. Think I got CC’d by my gf sandwich anyways and was sick afterwards. They tried, but weren’t celiac safe at least for me. Probably ok for a lighter non-celiac gluten intolerance.
The waitress could answer my questions and assured me the kitchen takes allergies seriously. Chef would change gloves and use a clean surface, and there is no cross contamination for the tacos. Flatbread was out of stock so I didn’t ask about it. The other options are the Cobb salad and a burger. I ordered the chicken tacos and they weren’t bad at all. Minus one heart because waitress said the manager would talk to me but they never did, and allergy was not announced by the server who brought over the tacos. Overall decent experience that I would do again- the golfing was fun!
Had a work outing at Top Golf, with a fajita bar because it had the best GF options. Options were corn tortillas and chips, fajita meat with onions and peppers, queso, salsa. When catered, there are labels for the food with top allergens listed (for example, refried beans had wheat and dairy.) I didn't get sick, but was left wanting more, if that makes sense. Our waitress was not knowledgeable about GF, but she got my questions answered by management.
They said they had gluten free options when we phoned to check. However when queried what was gluten free with server, a large number of items were not and could not be made gluten free even without the rolls. They could provide gluten free rolls. They made me a gluten free chicken salad roll. Not sure how confident I’d be eating here again though.
We had a really poor experience at Top Golf this time. Before we ordered food, we spoke with multiple people (the person taking the order and two other people from the kitchen) to ensure the gluten-free order was handled properly (due to an auto-immune condition in our family).
There were two issues.
1. What was listed on the menu as gluten-free was not really gluten-free per the staff. Either the menu shouldn't list it, or they should be made gluten-free.
2. This is the most serious breach in your operations. We were eventually given a regular pizza instead of a gluten-free pizza. My daughter took a bite of it and got sick all night. Unfortunately, she will continue to lose weight, so the effects don't stop in a day. The worst part is that when I attempted to check with the person who brought the food (despite multiple convos since I am aware mistakes can happen), the server responded rudely, saying, "I ain't cooking," implying she is not responsible. Who talks to a customer like that? Do you all not teach your employees to handle conversations with courtesy? She then pointed to a receipt saying it was marked gluten-free. After we started eating, we still had a doubt and checked with the person who took the order, and she was able to tell just by looking at the flatbread pizza that it wasn't gluten-free.
The manager came and apologized, but by then, the damage was done. We left the place within a few minutes. We were told we would be given a refund and not charged (we had to leave before we even got settled), and I still haven't seen it hit my credit card yet.
My issue is not with the refund. If there is any takeaway for you all, I would say that if the person who brought the food had been a little more caring and courteous, we could have avoided this issue and not ruined my kid's experience. I will take it further. Forget caring and courteous, if they had done their job well by responding to the customer's question by checking with the kitchen, we could have avoided the issue. It is traumatic for the kid to have to be scared of eating food wherever she goes, but the utter lack of respect and being considerate makes it worse. This incident has definitely affected our perception of your brand (given how good it was before).
There is not a lot to choose from, but I have eaten here several times without issue. I stick to the chips (not fried on site), guac, queso (is labeled GF on menu) and their steak taco plate, which is pretty good! They have a GF cauliflower crust but not going to risk it. The servers always mark in on their tablet and seem to understand when I tell them I have celiac (I say gluten allergy just in case. )
GF items labeled on menu. Staff was very accommodating. Waitress was unsure about some items and right away, brought the manager out to help us. He explained that the items were labeled gluten free but manufactured in a plant with non gluten free items and asked what we would like to do. We had a great time. My kids are asymptomatic, so unsure how safe it really was, but they took our concerns very seriously.
I ordered the chicken tacos. The manager came up to the table told us about all of the ingredients. It did take longer for me to get my food because the manager had not only talked to the head of the food team, he had made sure all of the ingredients were safe and prepared the food for me. He brought it out with gloves on. Let me tell you it was definitely worth the wait for the food!
The “GF” flat bread is not GF, the waiter clearly said that it is not prepared in clean environment, we still ordered it and let our Gluten Service Dog to check it and the dog immediately identified it with gluten. so for people who just make GF diet it is fine and tasty but it DOESN’T FIT CELIAC
I came here with friends expecting I could only wack a few balls while sipping cocktails. Wow; I’m shocked and pleasantly pleased. They mark the menu to indicate whether items are Gluten Friendly, Vegetarian and/or vegan.
I confirmed they have a dedicated Grier for the French fries and gator tots. I got vegan cheese fries with bacon, and chicken tacos. I could have also enjoyed a wrap, salads and a fruit cup.
While it isn’t an extensive menu, it offers options that allowed me to enjoy top gold with my family rather than being left out and envious of their delicious food.
I would imagine there is opportunity for cross-contamination, but I did not
Experience it during this visit and Inam quite sensitive.
Wonderful! There are plenty of gluten free options: guac & chips, queso blanco & chips, tres tacos (smoked chicken or steak only), any 4 flatbread pizza’s with a gluten free cauliflower crust, a choice of 5 burger/chicken sandwiches with a gluten free bun, a turkey avocado wrap available as a salad, a Cobb salad, cheese fries, french fries, tater-tots. All these GF options! I check the nutrition guide ahead, so I know my gluten free options! Gluten Free items haven’t been marked, but as the food is placed on the table the bay host will address that it is the gluten menu item that was ordered; it gives you peace of mind.
Lots of gf options but high risk of cross contamination. Burger buns don’t taste very good. But farmhouse pizza is amazing.
As far as I can tell by talking to staff, there isn't any celiac safe food here. They do have gluten friendly items marked on the menu however nothing is safe from cross contamination. The french fries and chips are done in a separate fryer from meat but there could be other battered items cooked in the same oil.
The chef personally came over to speak to me about my gluten sensitivity. She made sure to prepare my meal in a separate area inorder to prevent cross contamination. My turkey and avocado sandwich was great and so were the gluten free nachos with guacamole and salsa. I would definitely go back again.
Came to Topgolf while on spring break. Didn’t think I was going to be able to eat due to having celiac. The waitress was very knowledgeable and assured me she would work with the kitchen staff to ensure my food was prepared safely. A manager and the chef came out to talk with me about my order. The chef prepared my food himself in a separate area of the kitchen. The food was excellent and I felt very comfortable eating there!
“Gluten-friendly” buns and very limited options. I am non-celiac and asked for a gluten free bun for my sandwich and was given a regular bun the same as my boyfriend. I asked if this was gluten free they said oh no, and came back 30 minuets later with just a plain gluten free bun.
they are gluten friendly not gluten free. but i am celiac and don’t have any reactions there
Top Golf opened today (11/19/2022), they are gluten friendly, vegan friendly and vegetarian friendly. I have celiac and felt very comfortable with the level of care that they took to make sure my food was safe for me. The staff was friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience!! EDIT: I just spoke with one of the managers, they do not have a gluten free fryer, they actually have a complete separate area in their kitchen that is for gluten free food preparation.
Wow! The waitress brought the chef out to talk about food safety and he could not have been more accommodating! Has a cousin who is celiac, so he fully understands cross contamination. He said no to the fryer, not Safe, but the tacos were good and he would ensure that they were safe for me. Then followed up after my lunch. I was wowed and emotional about the care that he took with my food. And it was delicious!!!
I had to speak with two managers and two waiters to get to the bottom of what I could eat, and it was still very confusing. I ordered tacos and felt fine afterwards. The topgolf corporation should enable better ability for their locations to manage allergens in their kitchens by their staff.
My experience:
My understanding is that they use Mission tortillas that are not certified gluten-free on their packaging, and they cook the meat in a skillet that they said they cleaned for me. Again, food was good, but was a stressful process for everyone involved to figure out how to serve me.
We played golf here and we’re pleasantly surprised to find that the chips & queso were gluten free. My daughter with Celiac happily ate them and didn’t get sick. They also had flatbreads with GF crust available. We didn’t try that, but our server made sure to note an allergy on our order and took it seriously.
I told the waiter when we got there that I was gluten free. He went back to the kitchen to get some ideas of what would be completely safe and one of the chefs came out to talk to me about my options. We talked about the flat breads and how they are cooked and what she could put on it that would be safe. She took my order herself. It was delicious and didn't make me sick at all (and I'm extremely sensitive). I really felt like they cared to make sure I didn't get sick. I was very impressed with the service.
Not much to choose from, but the waiter seemed to have an idea about what was gluten free. Basically he said the chips and salsa, guacamole, and the one farm flatbread with cauliflower crust were gluten free. I opted for the chips and salsa with guacamole. He said he let the chef know of my allergy. The salsa tasted like it came from a jar, but the guacamole was very good. There may have been more options for gluten free (like maybe the hummus?) but the waiter only mentioned those items.
Nothing on the menu is listed as gluten free, but there are some gluten friendly options. I had chips and salsa with no reaction. They assured me the chips were gluten free and not fried on site. Not a lot of options for celiac. I didn’t get anything to drink so I can’t speak to the availability of the bar
The menu is very poorly marked. It seemed like all you could get was a flat bread pizza and one of their salads. I asked the server and he seemed to be pretty knowledgeable. He explained they have gluten-free buns and can make other salads gluten-free I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten-free bun and none of the sides are gluten-free I paid an extra dollar to get the gluten-free side salad but it came with croutons on it. The server seemed to be aware of gluten-free options, but the kitchen has no clue. I nervously ate my sandwich in the bone was delicious. The bun was also toasted which means More opportunities for cross contamination. Thankfully, I did not get sick, but I would not recommend this place for celiacs
Went here to golf with friends - was not a good experience food-wise. I looked at the menu in advance, looked at reviews online, & checked this app for any advice. When I got there I decided I would not order anything, as I found online that they do not have a dedicated fryer and almost everything is fried. Even their buffalo chicken dip has breadcrumbsđ... the waitress wondered why I wasn’t ordering anything so I mentioned I have celiac, and she laughed and said “yeah there’s really nothing you can have here, I feel bad!”
They have a GF cauliflower pizza. Talked w the sous chef and he came out and explained his process for new counter space, clean gloves and pan. He said he even cleaned the serving tray separate trying to be conscientious. He said the facility won’t claim gluten free, but have to say “friendly” but he was super knowledgeable and thoughtful. Took one star off only for limited items
The staff here is so sweet. I had the orange dream cocktail and just swapped out for Tito’s. For food you can’t go wrong with the Farmhouse Flatbread! Best cauliflower flat bread I have ever eaten. Highly recommend. It is only “gluten friendly” so celiac maybe avoid, but for gluten intolerance like me I didn’t have a reaction.
They have gluten free options but the staff was not very knowledgeable. I was very clear about my celiac disease and then received a side salad with croutons on it, which may have just been an error but still makes me question their kitchens knowledge of gluten and cross contamination. No dedicated friar.
You can find all their menu ingredients online on their website. A lot of GF options. When I got there, I asked if I could get a GF bun on my burger. Staff wasn’t sure, but looked it up and said they could. So my advice here would be to do your research ahead of time and know what you can get before you go.
Probably one of the best GF buns I’ve had. Great burger and fries all Gf.
My son didn’t want the Farmhouse pizza, so we asked if we could just get the GF pizza crust with pepperoni and cheese and they did that for us. My son is just GF sensitive to breads and pastas.
Went for team building for work. I was super excited when my boss forwarded me the email that they were acomodating me. Upon arrival they asked who was gluten free and not to eat anything from the buffet w/o speaking with chef. I was very impressed but it took forever and when he came to see me he negated everything that the topgolf team had emailed us. I'm giving 3 stars because I was able to have some rice with fajita toppings but they made my drink 3 different times and sent the bartender and 2 waitresses over and all told me different answers as to whether the drink was safe. If you must, I'd say eat here very cautiously.
We came here during our long weekend getaway to Nashville this past weekend. I have celiac and did not expect to be able to eat anything here, but figured I would ask our server and see. To my surprise, she had the chef come right out to talk to me. Chef Ashley was incredibly understanding and professional about the severity of my intolerance and told me exactly what I could eat. She even did a separate pot of oil so I could have French fries. It was a wonderful experience and I did not get sick! Every staff member we came into contact with was wonderful!
The flat breads can all be made in a gluten free crust! It was so good!
Their menu states clearly which items are gluten friendly! So easy and the staff seemed very informed.
