This place has a nice ambiance and offers a GF menu with quite a few offerings including appetizers and dessert. I had a shrimp and scallop risotto dish along with a caramel crème brûlée. The food was good and no ill effects.

Huge gluten free menu. They bring out gluten free bread as a starter as well (best bread ever!) I have never had an issue eating here. The food and service is great. The waiters/waitresses even have to get allergy orders approved/signed by the manager and chef before cooking the meal to ensure less cross contamination

My family had an amazing experience at Cooper’s hawk! I am the only one that is gluten sensitive. Our waiter was wonderful and very knowledgeable. They have a separate gluten free menu with lots of variety. Before the meal I was brought gluten free bread and my own butter. It was a hamburger roll, but it was warm and soft and I was so happy! I had an amazing shrimp appetizer and for entree I had shrimp and scallop risotto. They even had multiple desserts to choose from. I had the wine and chocolate- a flight of three dessert wines paired with three chocolate truffles. This is a beautiful restaurant, and a great place for a nice date night. We went at an off time and it was not too busy, but I would definitely recommend getting a reservation!

Probably the most extensive GF menu I have seen! Staff was very knowledgeable, manager stopped by the table to see if there were any questions about food preparation. They even brought GF bread before the meal was served. Finally felt like I wasn't missing out and could actually have (almost) anything I wanted, including dessert! Have eaten here several times without any issues!

I had a great experience at Cooper’s Hawk. They have an extensive gluten free menu. Waiter seemed knowledgeable. Each item in the order came with verbal confirmation by the waiter or server that it was gluten free. They even brought me warm, gluten free bread at the same time they brought warm bread for my daughter.

AMAZING! Please go!!!!! I was hesitant at first of course, full gluten free menu for myself. They even brought out gluten free bread as a starter and it was AMAZING. I had to double check it was gluten free, that’s how delicious it was. Ordered appetizers and dinner and no issues! 10/10! Will return again!!

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner here. Everything was delicious! Our server was wonderful and made sure my meal was prepared gluten free. She brought me my own gluten free roll with butter which was delicious. The shaved Brussels sprout salad was crisp, lemony, and delicious! The chicken Madeira was also amazing with a perfectly sweet and savory sauce. For dessert we had the salted caramel creme brûlée which was the perfect ending! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Solid takeout options- didnt get sick 2x. They gave me a regular pretzel bun one time though and had them double check un the back… they said they added it at the end. So if you do checkout ask for gluten free roll not gluten full.

Excellent GF dining for Celiac in Scottsdale! The menu here is very extensive and the staff and kitchen had great knowledge and familiarity with preparing GF food for Celiac diners. We ate here 2 different nights and our kids with Celiac ate safely and did not get sick. They especially enjoyed the filet, chicken carbonara, cheeseburgers and Thai lettuce wraps. The short rib risotto was also delicious!

I ordered delivery because I am traveling alone on business. Very impressive GF menu options, it was difficult to decide. What got me to order was that they have a few GF dessert options. I ordered way too much food, but couldn’t decide. One thing, my food was delivered with a roll and butter, my instinct was that it wasn’t GF even though I have read reviews that they have GF dinner rolls, so I called the restaurant to confirm. It was in fact not GF. One thing my 9 years eating GF is .... if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn’t GF. I was a little bummed, but glad I caught it. The restaurant offered to have GF bread re-delivered. I felt too bad for the delivery person to have to deliver a single roll, and honestly, I could do without it.

I had an incredible dining experience at the Avon restaurant. Staff was extremely knowledgeable as son add I mentioned I had celiac she advised she would let the chef know and get me the GF menu. They had delicious GF bread that I could enjoy while my family had the pretzel bread. Lots of delicious GF options on the menu including pasta options. Amazing dessert options. And I didn’t get sick. I had little concern about cross contamination because of how seriously they took everything. There was even a quotation about one of their truffles and they weren’t going to sell it to me to be on the safe side, but after some additional checking with the manager and head chef it was confirmed they were indeed safe. I would definitely go back. It’s a pricier meal and not necessarily as good as what it cost but it was a nice option and great ambiance for a nice celebratory meal out.

Definitely need to make reservations for this place. The manager that checked on us during our meal said they had 250 people in their reservations for that Thursday evening. It is a huge facility, so kind of noisy and not a place to be if you are in a hurry. They have a separate GF menu, 2 pages! And yes, it included several interesting desserts as well as a kids menu (although why bring the kids when you are there to relax with a glass or two of wine). The drunken shrimp appetizer was enjoyed by all at the table, and my favorite course. The salmon sounded like a strange combination with a tomato sauce, and I should have listened to my culinary self as I was glad I had saved my glass of wine to help improve the flavor. (Would definitely try other entrées before it again.) We all enjoyed a free :-D sample of the ice wine, which was delicious, even if it was not a great match for the nice truffle I had for dessert. No reaction, so that's always a relief.

Awesome experience and a great GF menu selection. Almost cried when I received a GF bread loaf, that was soft and warm. Ordered the Drunken Ship Shrimp app, the Barramundi entree and the salted caramel crème brûlée. Everything was amazing and I had no reactions. Our waitress went above and beyond to ensure all of my items came GF and the manager also stopped by our table. Will definitely be back soon!

I am obsessed with Coopers Hawk! They are one of the very few restaurants I have found in SWFL that bring out warm bread before your meal, and the staff is very knowledgeable about gluten allergies/celiacs. The menu is extensive and everything I have tried is amazing. They also have a huge wine menu and do wine tastings on site (first come first serve). I highly recommend Coopers Hawk to everyone and not only those with a gluten allergy. I have come here with different groups of friends and family who do not eat gluten free and they also loved their meal.
Do make a reservation in advance if possible, this is a very popular place!

Delicious choices and a decent sized gluten free menu! I had the drunken shrimp (amazing) and the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, guacamole, and ranch dressing. All delicious. I got take out with the intention of testing the gluten free bread because I had gotten sick the last time I ate here. The bread was put in my bag in the bag that they receive it in instead of being handled. I tested it and it was safe. I felt great after eating my meal plus bread plus dessert. I wonder if others got sick before with the bread so this is the new protocol.

Oh. My. Goodness.
Okay Celiacs, run 🏃🏼♀ don’t walk. This meal was amazing!
Cooper’s Hawk has over 40 items in their Gluten Free Menu (see in pics).
I had the Drunken Shrimp, I would have licked the sauce off the plate if I could have. A very fresh and tasty veggie Risotto, and then the absolute highlight of the meal, the sweet wine flight and truffles!
The wines were Cranberry, Passion Fruit (wow!) and Raspberry. The giant truffles were dark chocolate, white chocolate, and raspberry, I can’t say enough about how delicious this was it made me so happy 😁
All of the staff were wonderful, the view was great, and the food was fantastic. Did I mention the Dessert Wine flight? 😜

I am celiac. My husband is not. We both had amazing meals. Great quality food. Made fresh on site so they are very accommodating. All orders with a food allergy (including celiac) is tagged with a yellow card in the kitchen and a supervisor, manager or chef has to review the order and sign off. The supervisor or manager brings the food to the table and clarifies the food restriction. Highly recommend this place. There is a separate GF menu. This was one of the best GF meals I’ve ever had (GF breaded and crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans). The GF bun was warm and delicious. My husband tasted some of my food (chicken and bum and thought they were pretty good). Large portions so very happy that I have leftovers. Too full to order the flourless chocolate cake. Will be back to try one the GF risotto dishes.

***Make a reservation*** We tried coming here on a Sunday night and they were booked. There was open seating in the bar but that was all taken with many people waiting for openings so we ordered take out. My husband and I ordered from their gluten free menu while my in-laws ordered from their regular menu. My husband ordered the Short Rib Risotto and I ordered the Lemon Piccata and caramel creme brulee. My husband and I tried each other's meal and we both agreed that the Lemon Piccata was the best though the Short Rib Risotto was delicious as well. We also asked for all the rolls that came with our meals to be gluten free and they were excellent. My typically bread disliking husband even liked the rolls and wanted a second one. We really liked that they even separated the gluten free food from the gluten containing food into separate bags. They also labeled both bags; one gluten free and one gluten containing so it was easy to be careful. Overall, the food was excellent and we felt very safe. It has been a whole day since consuming this meal and I haven't gotten sick.

My son has celiac and felt sick immediately after eating the GF bread. He’s only 8 so i don’t know for sure if he was glutened. I did find out that the wooden platter they serve the bread on is the same that they use for gluten. Is porous and no idea how well they wash it in between. Im thinking there may have been CC with the wood. They have a great gf menu… I would ask them to make sure to our the bread in a separate plate.
