isabelle170020 I second the recommendation for Kyra’s Bake Shop if you are able to get down to Lake Oswego! My brother has eaten in Portland more often than I have and his recommendations for dedicated GF are Bang Bang (Thai cuisine) and Butterfly Belly Asian Cusine. I hope you have fun in Portland and get some tasty, safe GF food!

TravelGlutenFree Gem, Kyras, butterfly belly Asian cuisine (the are museum is right around the corner) if you look on the app you’ll find there are over 50 dedicated gf places to eat here in Portland

JoshRich I think Petunia’s is better than Kyra’s. Gem is great. If you want some of the best GF fish and chips anywhere, get to the Portland Fish Market on Woodstock Ave. salt and straw ice cream will scoop from fresh pints with clean scoops.

oregongfgal New Cascadia is a must. Their bread and bagels are incredible. Gluten free Gem is a gem. Lots of options, sweet and savory. Petunia’s for dessert or lunch. Their Mac and cheese is vegan too! Hands down must is Mikiko Mochi Donuts. ALL DONUTS ARE GLUTEN FREE! https://www.mikikodonuts.com/.

ansley Omg, a million! (I know this post is old, but maybe others will find this rec! 🫶🏼) I have a collection of my fav Celiac-safe Portland places, but a few, quickly: New Cascadia is the best bakery, hands-down. I don’t think any others in Portland are that good. 🫢 They’re safe! Just not that tasty. I bake a lot, and my standards are high. I love Bang Bang for dinner and drinks, Harlow for lunch. Mestizo is INCREDIBLE; they catered my wedding, so they hold a special spot in my heart. But seriously, get their banana flower tacos. Portland Fish and Chips is fabulous, if you like fish and chips. Hat Yai, as many have mentioned, is great, BUT you’ll be more limited because it’s not 100% gluten-free. (That said, they are so good!!) My husband and I love Abyssinian Kitchen so much — and Alberta’s such a great area. You should go there and walk down to Vivienne, a sweet cookbook shop!
